Looking over Casey, it took every bit of Alex not to demand that they talk right now. He didn't want Casey to leave upset, but he didn't want Casey to leave while Alex was still upset either. Bad things happened when they walked away from the issues, either they never got back to them or the issues just shimmered and grew. He didn't want that to keep happening, but with Casey and Chelsey, they needed to work their own issues right now.

Smiling when Chelsey started to go on about their meals, Alex didn't agree or disagree with his youngest, letting Casey take care of that for them. Leaning down and kissing the top of his youngest's head, to say goodbye, he stood back up and looked at his mate, "You guys have fun..and Case," He moved his head to mate's cheek as if he was going to kiss him, but he didn't, he just let their forehead's touch, not wanting to give his youngest a show, "I gave you that ring for a reason. Remember we're a team." He whispered it, not wanting Chelsey to hear it, but if she did, she wouldn't really understand it anyway.

Casey smiled at Alex then at Chelsey who said she wanted noodles. Ah.. Spaghetti. Of course. Then she said ice cream. Casey chuckled. "How about we buy a gallon of ice cream and we'll eatit when we get back with Daddy and Josh. Would that be alright, sweetheart?" he asked her, wanting her approval since this was going to be just him and her for a little bit.

Then he turned back to Alex who pressed his forehead with his own. He sighed and nodded. Alex reminded him of the ring. "I know. And as a team, we have to make sure that the other isn't too burden.... We'll talk when back after dinner and with ice cream." he said and smiled brightly for Alex. A heart felt smile and placed a kiss on the man's cheek for reassurance that they will talk after dinner.

Letting his mate go, Alex gave a small smile back when Casey gave him a kiss, it was enough for him. The older man trusted Casey, it was just hard to let things go like this. Looking down at his daughter, he stepped away to let them apperate. He'd probably take Josh out to get sundea supplies so that they can put something on top of the ice cream Casey was going to bring back. The kids can have fun decorating.

Nodding, she would like that. Chelsey wanted them to all have ice cream, but that would mean her and Papa had to go get it. All by themselves. "Can I pick the flavor Papa? Please?" Hoping that she would be allowed to, she assumed that she would be, since this was just her and Papa. If Daddy was coming, then Papa and Daddy would choose. Now, Chelsey was buying it too. But she'd pick chocolate, always chocolate.
