Ability: Wordless and wandless magic

How she got this ability and how it was mastered: Bellatrix learned wordless magic along with her fellow students in her sixth year in Hogwarts. She was fascinated by the possibility to cast spells without using words and practiced this until achieving mastery. Wandless magic was taught to her by the Dark Lord soon after she joined his ranks. She begged him to teach her until he finally compiled. Bellatrix also parctised this form of magic very thoroughly.

Ability: Occlumency and Legilimency

How she learned: Her father was an excellent occlument and legiliment. When Bellatrix, after her fourth year in Hogwarts, spoke of joining the Dark Lord, he made sure to teach her both. She later taught Draco when he became a death eater.
