Donovan shouldn't be out, he had been adviced a hundred times by his family that he should keep his head down, but really, why should he? He could go anywhere in the world right now, and not a single person would know who he was. That he was a Riddle, the son of the man they were celebrating the death of. Donovan could walk to Harry Potter himself, and no a single person would think anything of it, because Donovan was not known to the world yet. So sitting at the bar, drinking a glass of whiskey at the Leaky, was nothing but normal citizen behavior.
If the young man was honest with himself, he hadn't being cooped up in the house that he was raised in. It was more like prison for the longest time, he was not allowed to leave unless he had someone with him until his father had been killed, and even when that happen, his family still did not want him to leave on his own. Donovan understood, truly he understood their worry, but he was not a child and he would not be treated as one when he was working his ass off to make all the death eaters fall into line, and they wanted him to stay locked away? Hell no.
Looking up to the bartender, he would have flirted if it was girl, no matter how old she had been. Maybe he should hook up with someone tonight, get his mind off work and family, and on to something more lively. Maybe he should just get drunk and crash here at the Leaky for the night. It was shitty enough for a man of 22 to blend into, it was nice enough that Donovan didn't feel the need to shower. Unlike Starry. But then again, there might be people who knew him at Starry. He waved down the bartender for another drink.
