Chelsey's bottom lip started to tremble, it took only seconds for her to start crying. She wanted her Daddy home now! Josh and Papa we're being mean! "I want Daddy! I want Daddy home right now! Right now!" She just wanted someone to play with and no one was playing with her. "Send Daddy an owl! Make him come home!" She yelled at Casey in clear distress, because asking nicely no one listened either.

Running over to where her Papa's office was and started pulling open the doors to get to papers and to the family owl.

Casey knew what would happen next and the only thing he did was sigh heavily. Chelsey then proceeded to scream and call for Alex. Casey went after her making sure that his office doesn't get messed up too badly. He caught her and carried her to the chair, sitting her on his lap. "Chelsey, you know that you are not allowed to scream to me and your daddy. You know well too to not demand that either of us come home. Your daddy is working hard and we can't have him pulled away just because you want it too happen." Casey told her as calmly as he could. He didn't want to make her cry but the more they allowed her to do what she wanted, it would only spoil her and Casey didn't want that.

Chelsey pushed her Papa when they sat down together, "No I want Daddy! You're mean and Josh is mean and I want Daddy to come play with me!" Not caring about what her Daddy could be doing, all she really understood was nothing was going right and today was a bad day and she wanted her Daddy home right now. "You let Josh do everything! You won't even play with me!" Wiggling away from her Papa she went to her room and slammed the door, she wasn't aloud to do that either, but she didn't even realize she did it when she did it.

Casey sighed as the little girl demanded for Alex once more. He didn't even know whether or not he ought to owl Alex. But then again, Casey knew that disturbing Alex would only promote Chelsey's actions and condone what she did. "Like I said, Chelsey. Your daddy can't just come and go whenever he wants. That's not how adults work, sweetheart." he tried to explain but knew that it would be futile since Chelsey was just as stubborn as her father.

"We do not allow Josh to do everything he wants. He doesn't even do anything aside from reading in his room." Casey told her, not even knowing what she meant when she spoke of her brother.

--And Casey would eye him but won't say anything. hahaha--

Chelsey groaned loudly, "Then I want mummy! Tell her to come get me." Chelsey didn't understand that her mother wasn't someone who could just come around when she wanted, that her mother ran on her own schedule this time around. "She'll play with me, unlike you and Josh." Chelsey pouted, on the couch getting away from her Papa. "Daddy is mean too. He can come home but he won't." She didn't really understand what her Daddy's job was, but he left sometimes and it was just her Papa. Sometimes it was really fun, but not today.

When Chelsey asked for Lynn, Casey froze. It had been a long while since the little girl asked for her mother. It hurt a bit that Chelsey was asking for the woman just because Casey couldn't play with her. The said little girl sat on the sofa and Casey didn't dare to look at her, he couldn't hide the pained look he had on his face. "I'll see about your mother if she is available." was all Casey said ad turned to head to his table to actually write to Lynn who Casey not knew if she would come or not.

He could hear Chelsey compare him to Lynn. Of course Lynn would play with Chelsey. As far as Casey knew, the woman didn't have any work to do so she would obviously have time. "Your mother doesn't work to pay for our house or for the food we eat, Chelsey." Casey told her without looking at her. He didn't mean to sound a bit cold but the topic of Lynn was still touchy for him.

Chelsey just looked at her Papa, she didn't know what to say to that. Maybe if she didn't eat as much then her Papa wouldn't have to work and buy so much food. Frowning, she nodded, "I'm sorry Papa..I won't eat snacks anymore than you can play with me right? I don't need them, Josh says we can go up to an entire week without food!" She'd make it better for her Daddy too, then he wouldn't have to work as much either.

Casey snapped his head to the little girl that his heart started to break at her frown. It made Casey feel horrible. He sighed as he stood up and walked over to where the little girl was ad lifted her back to his lap as he sat down. "Sweetheart, do you really think that you would last a week without snacks? Besides, you need to eat as much to make sure that you grow up well. Your daddy and I work hard not only for the food we eat or the house we live but also for the clothes we wear and for your future. We are both working to save enough money to send you ad Josh to school when you turn eleven. If we don't work, they how will we all survive? Would you eat rat meat, fish and vegetables for the rest of your life?" he asked her, silently challenging his precious daughter without coming out right.

Wrinkling her nose at all that, she didn't want to do all that. She hated all that yucky food, she didn't want to eat it all the time! Chelsey shook her head, no, she didn't want that at all. "I...I just want someone to play with me. Everyone is too busy for me. And I don't want to play by myself anymore." Daddy was at work, Papa had work to do, Josh was being mean to her, Mummy wasn't here anymore so who else could she ever play with? "Will you play with me after your done working? Please?"

When Chelsey said want she wanted, Casey knew that he should have thought about her first before work. He sighed and hugged her. "I know, sweetheart. And I'm sorry for not having seen it first." he told her as he rocked both of them back and forth. She then bargained and he chuckled. "How about this, I'll make you a snack, you help me with work, then when its all done, we can play together. How about that?" he asked her, smiling at his beautiful baby girl.
