You haven't written, so I thought I would write you. How are you doing with your studies? With your school work? As proud as we all are, Quidditch should not be your only priority. I would like to see good grades before summer comes, otherwise expect a hardworking summer. I have no problem teaching you at home. Remember that. 

Tell me what's new with you, since I have to ask. You have yet to anything on your own, so I have to ask, which I should not have to do. You are the child, you should be open enough with me to tell me what's going without me having to get upset to get anything from you.

Dear Father,

The reason why I didn't write you was just because I had no idea what I was supposed to write about. Beside from the fact that I have become my house's quiddich cap, nothing exiting happened. Well now I am finally able to prove Acer that I am the better player but yeah... School will be managed somehow, I guess... Allthough there might be a slight chance that will have to repeat this year.

I am afraid I don't have much to tell. Still haven't decided what I want to do after I leave Hogwarts but I still have the time. Though I consider becoming a dragonologist. Not sure if you are okay with that but it is just an idea.

You skipped over me and asking about your school work, should I speak with a professor instead? You are almost an adult, just short a few months, don't you think we should be able to talk about this maturely? I'd rather hear from you than a teacher who doesn't care either which way. No one will be happy if I actually have to owl a teacher.

Impressive that your have made captain, how is that going? Are you spending all your time doing that then? I should just be grateful there isn't a girl involved, otherwise you would be even more off track. As for a job, do you think that would be wise? Who gave you such a dangerous idea? You can do much better than a zoo keeper.

If you say that I am almost an adult and then start about asking my teachers make me wonder who the childish person is here. Trust me dad, there is nothing to worry about. Care of Magical creatures is going amazing and my other classes will come by. And honestly I don't know why you are suddenly all this concerned. It is not like you've ever cared before or anything...

I spend most of my time practising with the team or hanging out with my friends, yes. What else is there to do at this school? Girls come from time to time but it is not like there is someone really interesting or anything.

So I guess you won't support me with my choice then. Well what would you suggest then? Just so you know I am not someone to be locked up in a dusty office for the rest of my life.

I'm saying you're become an adult, but you are lacking in acting like one. It's good your classes are going over well then, but how about Potions? DADA? Charms? The classes that you will be using after you graduate. Even if you get into being the job that you want, working with dragons, do you think you'll be very good if you can't make simple charms and potions?

If you can get all your grades up and perfect before the year ends, I'll set up a meeting for you and trainer this summer. IF you can get everything up. I don't like this job idea of yours, no, but you've made it very obvious you care very little for my opinion or your mothers. That's my offer to you.

My suggestion would be an auror if you want to be out on the field or a healer perhaps. I'll set up meetings for you to job shadow them over the summer, for me. You know my conditions for the dragon things.

Yeah okay, I still am a little childish. Guess I just don't want to grow up and take responsibility yet...
Aah Charms is going great too, DADA is okay I think and Potions ehm... Let's not talk about that. But I am afraid that you are right, I should give up on becoming a dragonologist then.

Okay, well lets just say that 'perfect' grades are out of order for now. I will just try to get as high as possible. But wow you are actually willing to do that for me? I feel quite honoured dad. Guess I'll try my hardest now.

Naah I don't want to be a healer, that's a girly job. Also, I am not quite sure if I am smart enough to become an auror...

Do you need a tutor? Are teachers willing to help? You show me the results of you trying and I'll set up something for you over the summer, but do you think you don't be injured on the job you want? Potions for healing, charms for protection, lucky for you you're already fit.

The healer and auror shadowing is for me and your mother, they aren't optional. The dragonologist things, I will help you with if you help me want to. I'll be writing to your potions teacher, seeing about getting you help if that's your struggle.

Then make me proud instead. Talk to Marissa, maybe she can help you with your classes.

I've already written your professor, I'm waiting on a response back. If I don't get a decent one I'll seek the help myself, but if I do, you WILL be getting it done. No ditching out of tutor sessions. No Quidditch excuses.

If you want my help you'll shadow them both. Or you're more than welcome to shadow me for the summer. You're choice.
