When Benjamin had told Sylvanna that he actually favored Davenport, she made a mental note to look out for the boy and see what he had to be like since Burke spoke more favorably of him. "Well, in a group of five, there would normally be one who has the intellect, another with a bratty attitude, one who thinks he is better than everyone else, another who will just follow the whole group, and the last would be like Wendelin, one who acts big and bad. No doubt that they would learn sooner or later. Sooner would be better since it would spare them unnecessary punishment." she said as she had taken a sip of her drink. It had been a while since she had any but it was fine.

She couldn't help but chuckle a bit, "Well, it seems that you are in need of tightening the reins on them. They think that just because you do not punish them like the others would, they can be as lax as they want. There would come a time when one needs to be the dictator in order for the people to learn and survive what it is to come." she advised him. Sylvanna had her fair share and all of her trainees had learned to adapt and are still breathing thanks to it.

Burke had been indeed fascinating and Sylvanna was going to keep an eye on him... for good reasons of course. He amused her and she liked being kept amused and entertained. "Yes, our new lord will kill the boy when the opportunity comes. And when it does.... Our will will finally be put right as it should had been from the very beginning. The Dark Lord Voldemort may have had perished but his end only signifies a new beginning. With his son, the Dark shall rise again for sure." she said confidently and knew that when the time came, she will enjoy every waking moment of the new world.

She blinked as Burke said that he had no place in the new world. "Everyone has a place, Benjamin Burke. Be that of human or magical creatures. As long as they keep our world alive, they have a place and purpose. You should not sell yourself off. I do not think your daughter would like it." she said with a hint of sadness in her tone. Oh how she longed to see her family once more. But her time was not yet there. She would see them soon. And Sylvanna hoped that her husband and daughter will understand why she became who she was now.

She merely nodded in agreement when Benjamin said that it was understandable that Cain would want to protect his siblings and that it was there business. "I am sure that Cain, along with Liam and Connor would know what best course to take for their survival." was all she said. She had high expectations of Cain as well. Then she laughed, for the first time since she got there. "Your selling yourself short once more, Benjamin. I have been very much entertain. Be certain of that. And if you would allow me a day or two with your trainees, I'd accept that better than any toy you can possibly give."

Listening to her advice, he was willing to make use of it. Even when it went against his usual way of handling things. Nothing could be achieved with kindness it seemed. Then so be it, he didn’t need to be liked anyway. He emptied his second glass and didn't take a third one.

His head hung down and he was staring into his empty glass. Swallowing so the blocking feeling in his throat would decrease, he bit his lip. “My daughter probably won’t notice the difference if I died. I eh.. haven’t been the best parent... I’ve never been there for her because I simply couldn’t.” His grip around the empty glass tightened and it could probably snap if he put just a little more pressure on it. “Still it seemed that she gave me happiness because when I returned home, I didn’t recognize her.” His voice sounded broken and filled with sorrow when he was reminded that there have been happy times but he hold no memory of them. Arabella, his little angel, he had no idea how to face her or what to say to her when he saw her in Hogwarts. Just when he thought his family was complete again, that monster took everything away. His now ex-wife had told him to stay out of contact with their child, which he could understand. He never would be to her what he wished he could be.

About Cain Redferne he wasn’t so sure what to think, mainly because he simply didn’t know the younger death eater. It was part his fault, since he just wasn’t the person to chat with someone unless someone approached him first. Perhaps he could try it sometime, there sure were going to be missions they would have to take care of together.

“You’d actually want to teach them?” He asked her, a little bit surprised. “Oh well if the young lord is okay with it. Five days from now, you can have them, I won’t be able to teach them that day or the day after. Just make sure they stay in one piece.” This actually came out quite handy. Within 5 days it would be full moon and even when taking the potion he had to keep himself hidden and the next day he would have to regain strength. “The only thing... the lord has set me up with a fourth trainee. Well I wouldn’t call him a trainee. Apparently they want me to teach the dog some tricks. I’m sure he will be rather good at playing dead of he doesn’t behave.” He growled at this, hating the idea of teaching Alex magic. Beasts like him didn’t deserve to learn magic. Why Donovan had picked him as his bodyguard or more like guard dog still surprised him. “I still have to decide if I want to do separate training or use him as a dummy to try spells on.” Then again even when Alex was way more open about his condition, sometimes he sounded almost proud, he could not be there that day. Benjamin would kill him if Alex even came close to harming his trainees.

Sylvanna was glad that Benjamin seemed to understand and took her suggestion into consideration. Then he spoke of his duaghter and pain flashed before Sylvanna's eyes. His daughter... She wondered how her own daughter would be like if she had not died. More or less, Sylvanna knew that she would not have been a Death Eater if her family was alive. She had no reason to. "Treasure her... even if you think she does not care. Not child would feel nothing towards his/her parents. Not unless you made her life a living hell like hos the Redfernes grew up, then it would be safe to say that you are right." she said.

Familial topics had always been a touchy subject to Sylvanna despite being who she was. She had turned to the woman she was now because of what she went through. She was glad for the change of topic and quickly smiled in amusement.

"Teaching isn't exactly the word I had in mind... However, If you meant if I would have a day or two to whip them into shape and have them learn their place, that I would agree to. And yes, I would be glad to do so. And if the Lord is amiable, I see no problem with it." she said then raised a brow when he said that there was a fourth trainee. She hummed for a bit. "Well, I don't mind. Like I said, it would only be for a day or two so I would very much enjoy the distraction. We should ask the young Lord though." she added.

"I don't think you should make your fourth the dummy. I would not bode well in the end. I can see it already and I am no Seer."

Beauclaire gave her advice and he listened even when he didn’t want to. These were subjects that always stung. It was even worse than talking about his condition. “Thanks…” He mumbled, somewhat close to breaking his spirits. Mainly because he wanted to be there for his little girl, but through the years he had caused nothing but trouble for his beloved family. Especially now when his ex-wife has requested him to stop looking for contact, he was in an everlasting argument with himself.

Every time he saw Arabella walking with her friends or just sitting in class, he had no idea how to act around her. It was almost like they were complete strangers. He had missed the most important years of her childhood her 5th year until her 11th. When he had returned she’d already grown that big. And two years ago he’d lost her once again. He hated this, the fact that he could not be there for the person he cared about the most.

His mood changed again as the subject moved on, it seemed that Sylvanna was a little bit more comfortable with this herself. “Uhm I’m not so sure if that is the way I handle things. Then again kindness hasn’t helped much.” He said somewhat bringing up with a weak smile. Still he nodded. “I won’t stop you though, I probably won’t even be able to. As long as the lord agrees I’m fine with anything.” He added.

To the comment about the forth trainee, he sighed and hung his head in his neck as he lowered in his seat. “Hmpf… It’s Andrews he doesn’t really get the same treatment as the others. I mean he needs to get taught different things, Donovan told me.” He growled a little at the idea of teaching the man that had destroyed him. “Then again, my personal grudge against the dog should not interfere with my tasks.”

Sylvanna took pride in her skills of seeing many things normal people could not. and this was just like it. She could see that Burke and the topic of his daughter was a touchy one. She had to retrack it and stop it before she would say something that she shouldn't. The last thing she needed at the moment was an enemy. "My apologies, Burke. I may have over stepped my boundaries." she apologies sincerely as she looked away from him. This was not really something she did often, apologizing. But when it was needed, Sylvanna would do so. Not wrong with saying sorry.

This time, Sylvanna couldn't help but laugh a bit. "Kindness has its place. Do not mistake me for a heartless harpy like Bella. What I merely meant is that sometimes, being kind does not teach others what they needed to know. The teacher, must be stern and more strict then for them to learn anything and to learn how to obey their betters." she explained to him. Sylvanna had learned it the hard way once before and she was adept to teaching it that way as well.

It was then she found out the identity of the fourth trainee Alexs Andrews. "Hmmm.... Alex Andrews, werewolf. Has a mate and two children, a boy and a girl. His mate... works for the Daily Prophet and since his mate doesn't seem to act different, I am guessing that probably Casey Richards knows what kind of job his alpha is or he does not really care. I thinking more of the latter since mates of alphas don't worry about anything else aside from their cubs and their alphas." Sylvanna shared to Burke what little she knew about Andrews. She had made it her past time to hunter down small informations using her old trainees to keep them in their toes.

Benjamin looked up in surprise when Beauclaire suddenly apologized. “There is nothing to apologize for, it’s all right. Things are just...” He said in return and bit his lip. Then he suddenly poured another glass of whiskey. It wasn’t the smartest move but he just needed something strong to swallow. “It’s just, I only wish I could cherish her and be a good father for her like she deserves. But I don’t have custody no right to see my own child, Isa took it all when she divorced me because of what I have become. She took the house, the money and Arabella. Isa said that she would not allow her daughter to be exposed to the dark side of society and of which I was part off.”

Yes it was true, they were his whole world. When he lost them he had nothing left but his loyalty to the Dark Lord and then the lord rejected him as well of course. Ben had remained a death eater but no longer was he a member of the inner circle. Strange how one night can change your whole life. Even until this day he had taken no revenge on Andrews.

His face cleared a little as she laughed but he could not put a smile on. “I never said you were heartless ma’am.” He said just to reassure her. Ignoring the explanation about being strict, still he took notes to that.

Frowning again as she started to share information about Andrews, he glared at her. It was not like he was asking for any of this. “He has children?” His astonishment was clear. Why was that animal allowed to have a family? What is wrong with this world. “Are they... infected?” He could only see the bad things Andrews had done mainly because he hadn’t seen anything good yet. Grunting a little, he brought the glass to his lips and swung it all over. “I don’t care about Andrews. He just needs to keep his damned mouth shut before I slam it shut for good. I swear on Merlin’s beard he has it out for me. For some reason he sees it as his job to make my life a living hell. You can have him, I'm not teaching him. He won't listen to me any ways.” There was the anger that the alcohol had awoken. Funny how it only took three glasses. He’d always been bad at handling his alcohol. Though it helped him sleep.

Sylvanna listened when Benjamin told her about his family. It surprised her but she contained her reaction. Not only did he tell her, the fact of the matter than his ex-wife didn't want their daughter to have a father appalled her. She snorted, "When all this is done and the Dark Lord reaches his goals, your ex-wife will soon regret he actions. Whether or not because you turned into someone else once a month or fight on the darker side does not make a valid excuse to rip a child from their father. This Isa you speak of will learn that the hard way later on." she said, as she finished another glass. Familial subjects were really touchy for her.

She laughed when the other sai that he never said she was heartless. "You have not said it, but most others have at one point did. Many of them think it til today. Though I don't know why. I merely want to help them learn everything they did to survive and live." she said, playing innocent for a bit then laughed.

Sylvanna shook her head. "They are not. My informants had gathered far enough that Andrews had children first BEFORE he became a werewolf. However, the mate is very much sane and though male, is very much like the mother in their family system." she told him as she poured another glass... her final maybe.

She did not miss the hate that was lacing his words. "Well, we shall discuss that with the Dark Lord. Since it would indeed make matters worse if you were placed together. No need to even experiment and drive everyone insane along."

“I’m not planning to harm the mother of my child. It’s below my levels and it would be a cowardly revenge. Arabella needs her mother and I won’t even dare to risk her starting to hate me.” People might call him crazy for this decision after all she´d done to him. But he knew better than the others. “Besides we all know that once the muggles and muggleborns are done it are the half-breeds who are next. Well that was what the former lord had in mind, I’m not sure what Donovan wants to reach.” Did he just really said that he was expecting to be executed after they've won the war? Well one thing he knew; may they ever reach their goal: he has no more purpose left in this world. Maybe he'd travel through countries and see parts for the world. What else should he be doing next?

“You should not care what others think about you. Though I don’t think you really do, you seem above that. You seem all right to me. Sadly some people don’t appreciate help, it’s sad honestly.” He grinned at her but said what he truly thought.

Hearing that the children were safe(well as safe as they could get with Alex as their father), was some kind of a relieve. Somehow often children brought the fatherly side in him above which he rarely could have used for his own child. “I don’t care if someone’s dating a male or a female unlike most pure-bloods. Though I guess it’s better for the children that the mate is there. I would not know how Andrew’s children would come out all right. Though it should not be my concern.”

Beauclaire did her suggestion which made Benjamin jump up. He didn’t like it one bit when people were doubting him or his skills. “No, I can do this. The lord gave me this order so I’ll do it.” He suddenly sounded stubborn and determined to do something which he actually didn’t want to do. As he spoke he waddled somewhat restless through the lab. Grabbing the bottle, he filled his glass ones more and took is along his small walk. It seemed that he was very bad at keeping his own promises.

“I won’t be follow up to my own words if I can’t be professional enough to cut my personal business from what has to be done. I may not agree with the young lord but orders are orders.” It was more to convince himself rather than the woman but then again the alcohol was making him think aloud. “I’ll show them, I’m not intimidated by a dog, he’s got nothing on me. And if I had my wand that day... he’d be dead.” After that followed some mumblings and growls that were unable to be heard.

Sylvanna shook her head, "I did not mean it that way. I know you would not. One look and I knew that you would not stopp so low. What I meant was, when the Lord has achieved his goals, you wife will know that what she did would have been for nothing. She tries to keep your daughter from the Darkness of that world? Its like asking for the ocean breeze to stop messing one's hair." she explained. She had to in order to not make a mess of it. "If his goals are as similar to the Dark Lord's, our little young Lord will have no reason to worry about loyalty. As long as he will rise to reign, I will be aiding. The Light is killing us and sooner or later, we wikk die thanks to them and their love for muggles." she said with disdain on the word muggles.

She smirked at him, "Of course not. If I cared what others thought about me, I wouldn't be where I am still. I would have been trampled over and left to ruin. No, I do not care what others think. Their opinions do not matter since I did not ask for it. And yes, it is truly devastating when others do not accept when they are being taught what they ought to learn in order to live." she said with a grin on her face.

Sylvanna nodded. "The children seem to be fine. I do not know if they know what their father is. But from what I was told, they seem to be growing up well. And yes, it should not be your concern or mine how Andrews raises his children." she said with a small knowing smile.

Sylvanna had to bite her lower lip to stop herself from laughing. Burke's reaction was instant. She had a wide grin on her face now. "Well, it seems that you already have made up your mind. But I would still accept the two days with them. It would be... entertaining for me and enlightening for them. It would do them good as well to learn that they should be thankful that they were yours and not someone else's trainees." Sylvanna told Burke and finished her LAST glass of wine. She had enough for one sitting.
