Fabian Rochester
Age: 12
Birthday: 5th June 1985
Appearance Fabian is a small boy, even considering his age. He has brown curly hair which he attempts to flatten once in a while to look like his older brother Almir. He has kind brown eyes and when he smiles hardly anyone can stay mad at him for long. His cheeks are still a little chubby but he’s quickly outgrowing that. Still, the freckles across his nose and over his cheekbones and the dimples make him look much younger than he really is. He always dresses properly and with great care just like his parents taught him.
Character History Being the baby of the family, Fabian was and always is drowned in love and affection, tends to get his way and it seems like he even gets the biggest presents among the Rochester kids. Fabian doesn’t let it get to his head though and you find in him a sweet boy instead of your typical spoiled child. He is very perceptive of his surroundings and therefore saw that his siblings were treated differently from him and differently from each other. Sensing that Almir was worst off among the siblings the little boy turned his affections towards him. Fabian is deeply impressed at how Almir stands up to their parents by doing “forbidden” things at school, like dressing in muggle clothes or growing his hair even though their parents told him not to. And even though he himself wouldn’t dream of defying their parents, he admires Almir for it. Fabian somehow accepts that Almir is following different believes than the rest of the family and when he’s alone in his room he ponders if Almir could possibly be right, but he doesn’t think so. Instead he goes with the traditions of his family.
Him being the youngest of the family Fabian feels the need to prove himself more often than not. When he sets his mind to something he’s very determined reach what he aimed for. It was like that when he first sat on a broom and kept falling off at the beginning. He wouldn’t stop trying and working on his skills deep in the night until he managed to fly. Even his parents calling for him to finally come inside couldn’t deter him. His father is quite proud of this trait of his that he always wants to do everything perfect and is clever enough to achieve what he wants.
Family History The purity of the Rochester family is almost extinct. The last pure line is the one of Thonan Rochester and his wife Daratris Rowle. Despite having four children they only got one son, Udian. The third child of the last Rochester line. His eldest sister Wanda was a blood traitor and married a half blood man, together they got two sons and a daughter but the Rochester family didn’t care for her anymore. His second sister married a pureblood man and both became death eaters. She married a pureblood man but got no children. Victoria killed her elder sister in 1996. Udian his younger sister Bristine married a pureblood man and they got three daughters and one son.
Udian saw it as his task to regain the glory of the Rochester family. His father arranged a marriage with a girl from the daughter of a great pure blood family.
Udian was attracted to her at first sight, she totally managed to play her way around him. She allured him into breaking up with his fiancé, which angered the other pure blood family. While his parents were angry in the beginning, once they met Cicelie, they were actually proud of their son. She was simply beautiful and any man could wish on marrying her.
Just like his elder sister, Udian joined the Death Eaters in 1970 only to quit in 1977 when his first child was born. Perhaps it was meant to be because two years later their daughter was born and a year after the war their third child was born. If he still was a death eater at that time, he would have risked a high chance of getting sent to Azkaban.
Despite that Cicelie barely shows that she cares for anyone, she really does. Both she and her husband expect their children to do good. If they would act different than expected they would blame themselves for being bad parents.
