Jagger Reese Shafiq

Birthday: January 20th

Appearance: Jagger is very good-looking, and he lets it go to his head more often than not. He is shorter than his brother, but still tall at 5'11. His body is very fit and tan, and his olive complexion doesn't change during the winter when he is outside less. His hair is a dark brown and his eyes are aqua blue. His smile is bright and usually genuine, though he does hide his emotions behind it.

Character History:

Jagger was a well-behaved child, for the most part. He always tried to listen to his parents and to follow their rules. It wasn't until he was around twelve years old that he realized he didn't care about being a pureblood anymore, though that was what was expected from him. He didn't see anything wrong with the traditions of his family, he just wanted to pull away from it and be his own person. So he started branching out with his friends and social activities. He became very interested in expressing himself physically, experimenting here and there with many of his peers, both male and female. He found that though he could appreciate the good looks of some male acquaintances, he was more attracted to girls than he was to boys. Still, he is very open when it comes to love and sex.

Jagger found that he has a gift for speaking. He seems very confident and articulate, and he goes out of his way to know as many people as he can. He is one of those people who is a friend to everyone, though he very rarely shows his true self. He wears this facade of self-assurance so often that he even manages to convince himself that he is what he shows others. But inside, he is insecure and lonely. 

He gets along with his parents to a certain degree, but they do not look on his sexual exploits with a kind eye. It almost makes him want to rebel and never to settle down, though he does see himself finding someone to be monogamous with in the very distant future. Tension with his older brother often runs high, as they are both very opinionated and stubborn, but he would lay down his life for Acer at a moments' notice. Anna is the princess of the family, and though Jagger won't admit it, he would give in to her every whim if she pushed him hard enough.

Family History: 

Suanna and Joson Potter, a pureblood couple born in the 1930s, were raised to believe in all pureblood traditions. They were not dark, but they were not light either, in this day and age, purebloods were just thought of to be of higher power. So they believed that they were, they had three children, Thomas, Annalyn, and Susanna. Whom they tried to marry off into other pureblood families. Their eldest son, Thomas was married to another pureblood, Jennifer Flint at the age of 16. Annalyn the middle child, fell in love with a half blood man named George Floan, ran away from home after graduation, and married him. The youngest daughter, Susanna, married a pureblood man of the name Winters Shafiq.


Winters and Susanna, tried their best to keep up with all pureblood traditions without picking a side with power, they tired to raise their child telling him that purebloods were of higher value, but he should not broadcast this. Winters and Susanna had only one son Marcus, they married him to Lieanna Selwyn, a pureblood woman. Lieanna was a women who beileved in pureblood power and loyalty, that they were above all halfblood and muggleborns. She was firm in raising her children the same way. Marcus saw nothing wrong with this, they were not a dark family, they did not fight during the wars, so it did little wrong for his children to understand the value of pureblood traditions.


So they did, they raised Acer, Jagger and Anna in stricter traditions than what Marcus grew up in. He didn't want this most times, but as he saw his eldest, Acer start to rebel, he kept silent. He was sure, with everything that had happen, that his younger children would follow in the example set by their elder brother. Marcus saw both wars happen, how light won both times, he did not want his children to be on the wrong side in the end even though they never fought. Lieanna did not agree with this. She saw that even though the light side won, it matter very little in reflection to their family because they never took part in the war itself.
