Acer came up from the library, keeping his bag closed and over his shoulder. He had tried to study outside the common room, but it wasn't working out. So pulling off his bag, he fell onto one of the couches, and threw his bag on the ground next to him. If he was home he could be outside reading, but that wasn't the case. He spent his entire time here making sure no one caught on to him, and being the weird ass nerd he was, he wasn't about to ruin it with his last year here. Acer pulled out his book, it wasn't school related but it was about the ruins that kid he met was looking at. It bugged him afterwards for awhile, that the younger boy was learning it but he hadn't known it himself. So pulling out the book, he looked it over, Acer looked up at the other people in the room.
Wanting to put his feet up on the couch that he was on, but the other person on the couch was already there and been there first. Acer was sure he could kick the other person off, but he didn't want to start anything. Sighing, he put his feet up anyway, but tried to keep his feet from touching the other person, but he got irritated and sat up. Looking up at his book, he looked at the boy, he couldn't remember his name for the life of him. "Damn, man, what's your name?" Acer finally asked.
Alex quickly startled out of his book, not expecting the voice so close to him. He looked up... and up, and up and up, only to see the face of the very Ravenclaw he'd been crushing on for two and a half years. His face turned a dusty pink, his eyes growing wide, and he internally stammered as he tried to remember the question - and the name of the very boy standing in front of him. "Acer," he realized out loud, only to go into near heart failure as he realized exactly what question he'd just answered. "Um, that is, I mean, A-Alex, my name is Alexander."
How stupid are you?? He ranted at himself. Way to make a first impression! He was usually so much smoother than this. He could walk into a room and have any boy he wanted if he really tried, yet when it came down to the one he actually did want he couldn't even articulate thoughts, let alone actual speech. "What's wrong with me?" he wondered to himself... only to realize that hadn't been quite as private as he'd intended. Nearly dying of mortification he looked up at the other's handsome face again, more than a little afraid of his reaction.

Acer couldn't help the smirk that come to play, because he knew the other male's name wasn't Acer too. Otherwise Acer would have remembered his name and not bothered to ask, he raised an eyebrow clearly amused. Looking at the Alex for a second, he took in that the younger boy was wearing make-up, he knew back at home his parents would have killed him for it. It was obvious just look at him he wasn't a pureblood wizard, "Well, Acer Alex, it's nice to meet you, I have yet the pleasure of talking to you." Licking the corner of his mouth, he couldn't stop grinning, Alex was different, he could already tell.
Looking around the room as if too see if anyone else was witnessing the same show, as if they were on stage or something, because this definitely two weird conversations in a row. "I can't tell you what's wrong with you, but I have a question, you have this cute emo boy look. How can you stand having make-up on everyday? Do you wear it in class? Man, my parents would have my ass if me or my brother did any of that...if we wanted to." Acer wasn't about to start wearing make-up and dying his hair, no, but it took guts for other people to do it.
Alex's blush deepened at the other's teasing but he felt a surge of undeniable gratitude that the other wasn't being an ass about his slip up. "No need to be so formal. Just Alex will do," he teased right back. It felt amazing to be having an actual conversation with his crush and even though he'd made a fool of himself at first seeing Acer being so cool about it really helped to take the pressure off. It was so much easier talking to him than he'd thought it would be.
Suddenly his lips pulled into an involuntary smirk at the mention of his makeup. "It's who I am," he replied simply. "I like it and I don't care what other people think. Wearing makeup doesn't make me a bad person and anyone who can't see past it isn't worth my time." His makeup was a point of pride for him. It was the one thing that shouted who he was, the one part of the "real" him he took to school with him. Suddenly a thought occurred to him. Is Acer just like everyone else? he wondered. The other boy had always seemed unapproachable but Alex always thought there was something that made him different from everyone else. He really hoped he was right. "My parents don't exactly like it," he added, "But it's my life."

Acer grinned at the blush on the other boy, why was it all the younger boys could do it? He got it down so well, well, aside from Almir, he didn't get a reaction out of his friend unless it was a smack on the shoulder. "Alright, well, Just Alex, you're blushing." Acer couldn't help feel a little pride with this game, trying to pick up girls in the school were so easy, he has tried with a few guys, but never really tired. His parents would have his head if he got boyfriend, that was for sure. Acer never really wanted to either, he never wanted to get a girlfriend either really, he was so into his studies and Quidditch, he didn't go for anything else, aside from the occasional thing in an empty classroom.
"God, how many times have you had to say that? Because I didn't even imply that you were a bad person." Acer wasn't sure if he should be offended right now that Alex implied that he was saying that, or if he should just move on to another topic. Either way, he was taken back by Alex's answer. Nodding, he could see what Alex meant with his parents though, "You're 16? 15? Just curious, who buys the make-up?" Acer smirked, because he knew you had to be of age to get a job here, and you had to be 17 to get a job while in Hogwarts.
"I am not," Alex said immediately, though he knew very well he was. He didn't blush easily but he'd made such a fool of himself. The last thing he wanted was to make an even bigger fool of himself by blushing so hard Acer knew something was up and called him on it... which he was kind of doing now. His flimsy response wouldn't do though; he knew it wouldn't. His skin was so pale that even the lightest bit of coloring was noticeable. Trying to think up an excuse in a timely manner was hard though. "It's just hot in here." Good one Alex, he thought to himself. Because no one's ever used that one before... smooth.
"I'm sorry," he apologized. "I wasn't trying to be rude. It's just that almost everyone I meet asks me that question and almost none of them approve." He hadn't meant to offend the other boy, he was just very impassioned on the subject. Everyone had an opinion about it, about him. He's too young, he doesn't know what he wants, he doesn't know what he's doing to himself, he's supposed to be a man - the list went on. Even if it chased people away, these days he just threw it all out at the beginning. At least Acer definitely didn't seem to be disgusted by it. "My brother buys it," he smiled in answer. Even the mention of his brother was enough to make him smile. "He wears it too. And I'm almost seventeen," he added with a decisive, proud nod. Almost old enough to move out and not have to care what anyone thinks ever again.

Thinking about it for only second, before nodding in agreement, it was hot in here. "Yeah, it is kinda isn't it? I'm sorry for implying anything, here I thought I was impressive." Acer smirked, but put down his book and back his bag, his mind as well focus on the other boy instead, because he had already started the conversation and he had already been flirting with him. What would his parents say to this right now? Acer thought about his next move a for only a second, before he took off his shirt, he looked at the other Ravenclaw, with a grin, "It's hot in here."
Shrugging as if he wasn't offended by the comment in the first place, like it was no big deal. "Well, you're not home anyway, so does anyone give you shit when your here?" Acer wasn't really the nicest guy around, sure, but he wasn't going to give a fuck what a guy..or girl, wore! Who cared about that shit anyway? Raising an eyebrow about it, he couldn't help but laugh, he'd die if Jag ever asked him to buy him make-up. He couldn't help laughing a little, "My brother, he's 16 too, but I would not be able to take him seriously...ever, if he asked me to buy him make-up. Oh god, that would bet be the day." Again, taken back by Alex, he had no idea what to say but smile amused, "You sound so proud...that's adorable."
Alex's eyes grew as wide as saucers. Oh my God... he thought, firmly keeping his jaw in place... kind of. Acer actually, he really, I mean, I get to see - Oh my God! "You are!" Alex agreed quickly, only to realize that he'd just defeated the purpose of his previous excuse. "Well, that is, I mean, is it feeling a little chilly in here to you?" he stammered in embarrassment, his eyes tracing the other's chest. Not that he wanted the view to go away but how was he supposed to think with all that impeccably muscular chest practically shoved in his face? "Now it's getting hot in here," he mumbled to himself, his eyes still glued to abs that shouldn't be legal.
He eyed Acer's shoulders as they arched upwards, distractedly answering with a, "More people than you'd think." His eyes traced the gorgeous tattoos next. Snapping out of it a bit at the other's words he regretfully drew his eyes away from the other's body, hoping he'd mentally captured it, and then said, "Your brother is... Jagger right? I can't really see him wearing makeup but it would definitely be funny. Hot too." He smirked in a teasing way, his left eyebrow shifting up just a smidgen. Then his face turned the brightest shade of red yet - almost as bright as a Weasley's hair. "Adorable?" he squeaked. He cleared his throat and continued, talking in a slightly exaggerated deep voice, "Well coming of age is something to be proud of," he pointed out seriously. "'Cause you made it through all those years as a lap dog and can finally be free!" When he finished he nodded his head again to punctuate, determinately keeping his eyes on Acer's face.

Acer really should been a Gryffindor, really, who does this other the impulsive ones? Acer leaned over and grabbed Alex's wrist with one hand and grabbed Alex's waist with the other, lifting the boy up and over to him. If the kid hadn't responded to his flirting, he wouldn't have taken this step, but it was obvious that Alex was attracted to him. So with the smaller boy in his lap now, he raised an eyebrow at the comment about people giving Alex shit over his look, he hummed, before grinning, "Well, take time someone gives you shit, tell me. I'll hit them with my bat." Alex said with a a wink, talking about the bat he used for Quidditch, really he shouldn't because of getting into trouble could lead to consequences for future games, but oh well.
Nodding, yeah, his brother was Jagger, the Acer brothers were out there enough for everyone to know. Thinking now, about his little brother putting on dark make-up, he didn't even hold back that laugh, "Oh god, you can, but if he did it, I wouldn't be able to hold back. Oh, Merlin, that is going to happen now." Acer made a mental note to get his brother with a charm or two later when he got the chance, raising an eyebrow, Jagger would be hot huh? He moved into Alex's neck, and the tip of his nose moving one the other boys skin, "Adorable." Acer repeated in whisper, not even caring who could see them, there were as public as a the common room. People would more than likely ignore them anyway, this wasn't the first time Acer got up to something with another person in school.
Alex squeaked in surprise, clinging to the only solid thing he could - Acer. His arms looped around the other boy's neck and he leaned into him slightly, enjoying the contact. By now he was through withdrawals - he went through them every year after coming to school and having no close friends or hookups - but he still missed the feel of another person's skin against his. "I'll be sure to do that," Alex replied dubiously, giggling at the thought. He was reasonably sure he could take care of himself, but the thought was still sweet. And he knew he looked really weak... he scowled at the thought.
"Oh?" Alex questioned with a half grin. "Gonna surprise him with a little gift?" It would be too amusing to see the slightly younger boy hit by a cosmetic spell. In Alex's opinion those things were awful. They didn't account for skin tone at all. He then sucked in a sharp breath, trembling slightly at the feel of the other's nose on one of the most sensitive parts of his body. Don't do it, he thought to himself firmly. This is Acer we're talking about... He managed to snap himself out of the haze that was overtaking him - to some extent, at least - before he got a wicked smirk on his face. One he quickly hid. He turned his head slightly, his tongue coming out to flick along the outer edge of Acer's ear, before he murmured, "Is that so?" in a low voice.
