Acer was stunned by the other boy's reaction, he had been drawn to the shyness of the boy, the sudden return of affection was unexpected. Lifting his head to look up at Alex, he didn't mask his confusion, he was didn't use lies to manipulate the people he wanted, he was honestly and it seemed to work out just find. Acer wasn't enjoying being played by the younger boy, "What happened to that cute shy kid that was sitting over the in his book?" Acer asked honestly. "He was adorable."
Moving his hand into Alex's hair, he moved it in his fingers, looking at the boy in his lap. "Perhaps I was jumped to far too fast to judge clearly, seems like your not as bashful as you looked originally." His other hand moved down to Alex's waist.
Alex considered the situation for a moment before answering. There was a very fine line between his school life and his home life... was he going to cross it? "They're both me," he finally answered. "Sometimes I'm shy and sometimes I tease. I'm more shy when I'm uncomfortable but what you did threw me off enough that it went away." He wanted to add more but he barely knew the other boy. Watching from afar was great, but it didn't let you know a person. Who knew how Acer would react? He didn't expect to find his first great love in the boy and he couldn't be just friends if he had feelings - that didn't leave a lot. So why not tease him? If nothing else it was definitely amusing and could possibly lead to having some fun.
Alex looked down, feeling slightly ashamed. It wasn't really fair to just switch things around even if it was funny. In all honesty he wasn't sure how else to react. In the past he'd always just gone for it; he hadn't been sure what else to do. He'd made it into something of a joke because he was still uncomfortable, but he hadn't wanted to outright reject the boy. He had liked Acer for almost three years. But it seemed that maybe Acer had just been playing too. If he'd not gotten past his shyness nothing would have happened, right? Putting on a shy, reserved smile, he said, "I can be shy if you want me to be? I just figured you'd want to get right to the good stuff," he ended in a teasing tone, trying to make light of the situation. He wasn't really sure what the other boy wanted now.
Listening to Alex, Acer leaned back on really removing his hands from Alex, but not really touching him either. Moving them over the tips of the other boys hair and his fingers over Alex's waist, Acer nodded, "Well then, seems that you have two sides to you then. Two sides of the same coin. Acer grinned, it wasn't that big of a deal while listening to him, it wasn't on purpose then, if what Alex says is true. And what why would Alex have a need to lie to Acer for? Acer had only actually spoke with him today. "So I'm not the only one who's pulled such a reaction out of you then?" Acer asked more with more than one emotion in his voice, but his smile never wavered.
Eyebrows shut up, and Acer pulled his hand away from Alex's hair, whoa. Acer couldn't help but be offended by Alex's words, I just figured you'd want to get right to the good stuff. Acer was attracted to boy, he was gorgeous, but he didn't really want to just sleep him right now. They only met a few moments ago. Acer had his fair share of people, but he didn't just jump into things without knowing them first. Who knows what shit will get started just sleeping with one? And Acer never slept with someone underage. The last thing he wanted was a ticket to prison because he couldn't control his bed. Perhaps he shouldn't have said anything, or perhaps he shouldn't have picked him up and put him in his lap. Acer looked at Alex for a moment, then to his bag, "I actually have a lot of homework to do tonight gorgeous, perhaps rain check?" Acer said, without even blinking.
Alex's head tipped just slightly to the side as he considered what Acer said. "I guess you could say that," he replied. He'd never really thought of it that way himself. No matter who he was the other side was always lurking under the surface, influencing his thoughts and actions. When he thought of himself as a coin, he thought of two different personalities - two different people. He didn't say that out loud though. "Kind of," Alex admitted, thinking on it. His brother used to do it all the time, but for completely different reasons. These days what people saw at first glance was usually what they got. He took a moment to wonder at the indiscernible emotion in the other's voice before finishing. "Only my brother." No harm in admitting to that.
Alex knew those words too well. We'll probably never talk again, he thought to himself, feeling a small spike of hurt that he viciously shoved down. He hadn't really expected they would, the reason he'd suggested what he had. Even being a Ravenclaw people usually only saw him as a pretty face. Good for sleeping with but nothing more. It usually didn't bother him because he had his brother and as far as he was concerned that was all he needed to be happy, but he had two and a half years of emotion invested in this boy. There was bound to be some hurt feelings along the way. To say so would be stupid though; he really didn't know the other boy, and not getting the chance to wasn't as big of a deal as it seemed in the moment. So he laughed it off, giving a closed mouth smile that he had spent long hours practicing as a kid. "Sure," he agreed easily, tone light but emotionless. His real emotions flashed behind his eyes for just a moment before they were locked securely away, replaced by false cheerfulness. "It's a little late anyways."

Feeling guilty now for wanting to walk away, Acer sighed, looking around the common room for any wondering eyes. "How about we hang this weekend? Friday after classes are finished." He gave the younger boy a set date, so that Acer couldn't just back out. Offering a smile, he wanted Alex to think positively, but he didn't want to encourage them having sex right away. Remembering that Alex said he was almost 17, Acer would just wait until then if it was worth the effort. "We can go flying or something, yeah?" Sliding Alex off him and on to the couch, Acer grabbed his shirt, moving into his bag, he stood up sliding his bag over his shoulder.
Not wanting to ruin is own chances of sleeping with the gorgeous boy, Acer leaned down, in Alex's face. Putting one hand on Alex's cheek, he ran his thumb over it, smirking, Acer gave his own piece of advice, "You're amazingly hot, don't ever question that. But, if you want to sleep with someone older than you, don't tell them how old you are." Kissing Alex's forehead just be a jerk about his age, he grinned walking up the dorms.

Alex felt his eyes widen in surprise, taken aback at the offer. He definitely hand't expected that. "S-Sure," he replied, his surprise making him stutter. "That sounds great." He'd have to push back his studying but then again - that's all he did anyways. It wouldn't hurt to take a break. Alex tensed as Acer shifted him onto the couch then watched Acer move. He wondered at Acer's motives but figured they couldn't be too sinister. Flying, hm? he wondered, tipping his head slightly to the side in thought. He hadn't been flying since first year. That would be fun.
Alex shivered at the feel of the other's hand, nearly leaning into it before he caught himself. He felt blood flood his cheeks once again when Acer called him hot. He'd heard it probably hundreds of times but it was different coming from this gorgeous boy. "I'm not that young," he grumbled grumpily, watching the other leave with a scowl. It smoothed out when he brought a hand up to lightly run his fingers over the spot the other had kissed, feeling his blush turn a little deeper. He'd never even thought to take age into account. In muggle England the age of consent was sixteen - it had never occurred to him that it might be different here.
At least I'll get to hang out with him soon, he thought, a small smile overtaking his face. He was really looking forward to it.
