Mallory was slammed with paperwork and stuck in her office most of the day. She loved her job put the paperwork got old fast. Just as she would finish a stack, her boss would bring more in for her to fill out. She was pretty sure she was picking up the slack after her coworker left sick and that bothered her. She preferred when she got to do the field work.
When her boss went on his lunch break, Mallory took her chance and darted out of her office. She made her way out of the ministry before apparating to Diagon Alley. She found her husband working in his shop and had to restrain from demanding they go get lunch together. "Today is dragging," She said as she entered his shop. "Will you make me the happiest wife ever and come have lunch with me at Leaky?" She pouted her lip and placed her clasped hands under her chin, hoping he wasn't busy.
Gabriel was proud when he entered his Shop that morning. Finally. The first morning had come where he didn't have basic restoring to do in his shop. To say it had been in a bad condition when they'd come back and rejoined the society after the war would've been an understatement. He'd worked until he'd been totally exhausted for weeks now and finally the success was visible.
So all through the morning there had been a smile on his face and it only broadened when his wife visited him just after he'd closed the shop for a lunch break. He quickly cleaned his hands and approached her, a sympathetic smile on his face. "I'm sorry dear. You know me, I'll do everything for you," he said and pressed a soft kiss to her forehead. "Come on, let's get out of here," he said and put his arm around her. He was actually excited for a bit of time with his wife again after working so hard for quite some time. Before he led her out of the shop he stopped for a proper kiss as greeting. "Want to tell me about your day?"
