The Blind Date

"I haven't seen the love potion in action. Have you?" Dean asked. "Here, I'll buy it for you." Dean said with a smile. He got the feeling the potion might end up being used on him, but he didn't care. He was already smitten with this girl, and figured if it was used on him it wouldn't have much more affect on him.

When the boy offered to buy it for her, Puplia didn't know what to say at first, but ending it with, "Hey now, who would I use it on? Unless you wanna be my test frog." She giggled, not really sure who she would use it on, it would be a lot more fun if it was a stranger or a teacher. Or maybe she could do it for a student to a teacher! "I think I'm confident enough I can win you over without a potion." She smiled at Dean, but she picked up the small pink bottle anyway, because she was definitely going to use this one day. "I would like to see this baby in action though, wouldn't you?"

She put her hand on his arm, "It's nice of you too offer to buy it for me though." She smiled at him, looking at the isles, "What would you like to see in action?" She wondered if they shared any common interests, Puplia hoped so.

"I'd rather like to see the shielding hats in action. I like to duel, and is think it would be hilarious and impressive to see those hats in action." Dean said. Dean took her hand and led her over to them. Dean put one on. "I probably look ridiculous in this hat!" Dean remarked.

Giggling when she saw Dean put on the hat, she grabbed one herself and put it on. "Well, we'll look like twits together than." She bumped into him with her shoulder lightly, laughing about how she was acting in public. Looking around the store, she saw a few random younger kids starring at them, she looked away with a laugh, "This would be fun to see around Hogwarts." She said aloud, thinking about all the things a simple hat would cause. "You should use one when you go to duel next time." Puplia said, thinking that it would be fun to see the shield on the hat kick in and bounce back to the caster.

"Haha of course I will!" Dean said with a grin. He was thoroughly enjoying every minute he spent with her. "You know, I'm really enjoying this date." Dean said. "I haven't had this much fun with a girl that's pretty, smart, and funny like you." Dean continued with much sincerety.

Laughing to herself, Puplia just shook her head, "I'm not all that great, but thank you. You're kinda fun too. A little on the dorky side, but fun." The older girl teased him, not really meaning anything by it, but playful batter. Taking the hat off, she wished that was of age to do magic so she could see what the hats would do. "I wish I could see what this does in action, it sucks being underage." She wrinkled her nose, annoyed.

Dean laughed. "You don't give yourself much credit, do you? You're amazing!" Looking around, Dean then said nervously, "well, the trace can't tell if we are performing magic in a magical area. We could go test them out somewhere here and no one would know......" Dean didn't know what he was thinking. He had never broken the law before!

Puplia was taken back for a second, before she grinned, he was right. They couldn't trace it back to them, she laughed, putting the hat back on. "Okay, I'll do you first, then you do me okay? So we both get to see it." She was really going to like this boy, he wasn't scared do get a little daring, she was pretty happy to see it. Puplia was pretty sure they were going to work out pretty well as a couple.

Pulling out her wand, she made to aim at the hat and not at Dean, not wanting to hurt him even if she wanted to see what the hat was going to do. "Ready, 1, 2, 3! Expelliarmus!"

The spell hit the hat and bounced away from Dean. "It works!" Dean exclaimed. He was very glad it worked, because he didn't think getting hit with a spell would be a great feeling. He was also glad that she had taken the lead, because while he had made the suggestion, he hadn't thought he would actually go through with it unless she did. He could easily see himself expanding his sights with her, and was hoping she would want to go on another date.

Puplia laughed when the spell bounced off the hat and over to one the shelves, she turned back to Dean, "That was awesome. Okay try a different spell, see if it works with other stuff too." She grinned pocketing her wand, holding her arms open, as if she was saying 'come at me' she was having a lot of fun with Dean, she'd have to ask for a second date when this was one over. Or maybe they could get some food, most dates involve food.
