Snorting, "But you at least tried them, and from what I remember, your story about boxing was a pretty awesome. I'd be damn proud if Josh ended up knocking me a new one with something he didn't even what do in the first place." Alex was being truthful, he didn't want Josh to just be a little bookworm all the time. "Plus, I don't count you as a real boy Pinocchio." He poked his mate in the nose with his finger, but really he would like it if Josh liked the same stuff he did. So that they could do some stuff together other than reading.

Moving his hand from Casey's waist, he moved it to run through his mate's hair after he laid down. Running his fingers through it, he let out a sigh, this wasn't something he did with Dylan, something he didn't even think about doing because this was purely him and Casey. "Jason wouldn't stand a chance against the big bad wolf." If Alex was honest, Jason was probably pretty equal in strength against Alex at this point. There was no way Jason could be weaker, hell, he might even know more, but Alex knew how to take down his brother purely because he knew the younger man well.

"Hey, I happen to like to think about you as a blushing virgin. My two kids that I came to you with, proves I wasn't when I got with you.....But you were only 25 when you got with me." Alex couldn't believe how Casey was so open to being with him despite him having two kids to raise. "God, I'm lucky. What the hell were you thinking being 25 and dating the old man with kids?" Alex teased with a smartass grin, Alex himself was only 27 when the two got together, not exactly old, but two kids was a pretty big deal with dating.

"I get to be Elvis...king of rock and roll!" Every Vegas wedding had an Elvis. Then Alex started to sing incredibly loud and off key, "Your kisses lift me higher..Like the sweet song of a choir..You light my morning sky...With BURNING LOVE!"

Casey chuckled a bit. "Give it time. Start slow with him. Eventually he'll come out of his reading phase and start to branch out into sports. Get him out as much as you ca. We can work together to get him out the house as much as possible." Casey said as he smiled at his alpha. Then he growled a bit and bit Alex's chest. "Hey!" was all he said and pouted.

He relished at the soft touch of Alex's fingers running through his hair. Casey hated the thought that he almost lost this because he was being a bit stupid. He couldn't help but laugh at the thought of Jason in nanny uniform. "Of course. Because no matter how strong he currently is, you still know him best." and Casey knew he was right of course.

Casey was glad that he wasn't looking at Alex at the moment. He blushed hard and he knew he'd get teased if Alex saw it. He listened as Alex spoke and thought about it as well. Alex indeed had bee a great surprise but Casey knew very well now that he could never see himself without Alex and the kids. He chuckled as Alex called himself an old man. "Honestly? BAck then... I just felt that my life would be more meaningful with you and the kids. I felt so sure back then that if I didn't go with what I felt was right, I would have made th biggest mistake of my life. And now, being with you and the kids solidified that I made the right choice and I couldn't be any happier." he said softly as he buried his face on Alex's chest, snuggling closer.

A laugh escaped his lips. Casey looked up and chuckled when Alex began to sing. He was no singer but despite Alex being a bit off key, Casey couldn't care any less. "Will you be wearing an Elvis costume when we do get married that way?" he asked teasingly.

"And you won't have an issue with it?" Alex understood that Casey was protective of their children, but this was something that he needed to understand that him and Casey were on the same page. If Casey's dad forced him into thing that Casey didn't want to do, and when Alex went to take Josh out to do things and Casey stopped them, than he knew there were going to be issues. He laughed when Casey bit him, "I'm kidding, I'm kidding." He kissed the top of Casey's head.

Running his heads through Casey's hair, he just smiled as his mate talked about how they were before. How things were for him, Alex was in a mix up of madness being on his own. When Casey came into his life, it was just like the world stopped for a minute. Even when they started dating, Alex's brain saw this man as his, so it was hard to make the change without hurting his mate, but they got through it. Now, they ran the full moons together, and have done so every month for the past three years. "Well, I would have just kidnapped you if you walked away. After I met you, you were beautiful, I couldn't just let you walk away after that...Especially when I saw how you can handle all this. Lynn actually told me that you had better control over me than she ever did, you remember.. I used to have a bad temper." The blond male's voice was held in awe, it was obvious in his voice how he felt about his beta, despite the words.

Moving a hand around Casey as he moved closer into him, he smiled, Alex would never make the same mistake twice. His pack, his family, always came first, and there was no changing that. Ever. Laughing again, "Chelsey would have my head if I ever let that happen, if I told her she lost out on being the flower girl, she'd kill me. She's only 6, but she's pretty intimidating Case, it's scary." Alex stretched out on the couch, getting his body turned more into the couch, holding Casey just the same, he wasn't tired, but this was overly relaxing. Alex wouldn't bring up the collar again, he wouldn't push for any of that again, he should have never done that to begin with. He moved his hand under Casey's chin and pushed his head up so that their eyes would meet, "You are beautiful in every way, don't ever think differently just because we fight or do something I shouldn't, no matter what I do or what I say, I'll always love you. I'll always protect you." Alex would make sure Casey knew this, even it was telling him it every day until Dylan was completely erased from Casey's mind.

Casey looked at Alex and shook his head."AS long as he doesn't get hurt and when he really gives up. I know that he needs this as well. Just remember that his still eight and that he doesn't have the same strength you and I do." he told his mate. Casey was worried but he knew it well that Josh would need this time with Alex in order to break out of his reading phase. It would not be good when he reached Hogwarts age and he does nothing but read. He then nodded his head when Alex said he was kidding. "Good." he said and placed his head back down on his strong alpha's chest.

The feeling Alex was giving was so relaxing that Casey could spent the whole night that way. It made him recall the day he met Alex and how things had changed for the better for him. Casey listened as Alex spoke and nodded once in a while and chuckled a few times as well. "I remember... I remember that you knew nothing next to raising kids and here you are now. The perfect daddy to Josh and Chelsey. The perfect daddy who would do anything and everything to provide for them." he encouraged Alex, knowing that his alpha needed reassurance that he was doing well.

He couldn't help but laugh. Chelsey would throw a temper tantrum of the century. "We couldn't have that, now can we? And I know. For a six year old baby girl, she's so much like you already." he teased Alex a bit. When Alex spoke once more, this time saying things that normally would not have bee said by the man and when he met his alpha's eyes, Casey couldn't help but burn deep red. "I love you too, Alex. I don't I have ever loved anyone the way I love you. I'll always be by your side until the day you would banish me away. It will hurt but I will obey. I will always love you even if my world crumbles down on me." he said as he also told Alex how he felt.

Smiling, Alex continued on with petting his boyfriend's hair, closing his head, feeling more relaxed than he had in days. Even though he was never bored with Casey, he did miss how they were back in the beginning. How much easier it was too get a blush out or how much less serious situation were, it was all fun back then, they did this a lot. Laid around, talking or having fun, they didn't really have any issues other than Alex's over possessive self. Snorting softly, Alex didn't even open eyes when he spoke up again, "We've changed a lot since we were first going out. What happen to my blushing cocky chilled out Casey?" The playfulness in his voice was clear in the question, that he meant no harm in asking.

Blinking at Casey, he smiled a little at the blush he saw rising up on his cheeks, Alex couldn't help but pride himself with the fact that he could still do that. He ran his thumb over Casey's bottom lip, before he leaned down and kissed his mate, just barely, but just too touch. "I could have never picked a better mate." He moved his hands down to Casey's waist to pull the younger man up and closer to him, to deep the kiss, pulling away letting his forehead touch again Casey's, "And if I ever get a little confused on that again, you have full permission to kick my ass." He laughed quietly at the end of his sentence, trying to be happy about this.

With a sudden though, Alex pulled away, "Wait, so who got who the last round? Because I'm definitely thinking it's my turn to get you." He grinned, speaking in unnecessary code about the incident when Alex returned home after being with Dylan.

Casey loved it when they get to spend times together like this. No one else... just them and they didn't have to worry about the world. He remembered the times they just sat and talked. Enjoyed each other's warmth and do nothing. He chuckled when Alex snorted. Casey then poked Alex's side, not looking up since his face was already blushing for sure. No matter what, Alex had this way of making him blush easily. "Quiet you." he murmured.

When Alex kissed him, Casey welcomed it. The taste of his mate reassured him that Alex belonged to Casey and no one else. "And again, I regret nothing as long as your here." he said as he allowed himself to be pulled closer. The kiss deepened and Casey couldn't help but moan lightly. "Dully noted." he replied and kissed his mate once more.

Casey was surprised when Alex pulled back, causing him to laugh at the question. Casey smirked. "I don't know... I think its mine turn still." he said as he sat up, straddling his mate and slowly took off his shirt as he smirked down on Alex.
