Coming down from Donovan's office, he had just collected his pay of last kill he had made, coming down the stairs he saw the lower recruits. Alex wasn't sure if he should approach Dylan or not here, but he wanted to talk to the teen, telling him that things were good with him and Casey. He wanted to let him know that Casey understood that Alex was too blame, so he walked over there with a faceless expression, "Davenport, get over here." Just because Alex was going to be nice to the boy to his face, he wasn't going to change how he acted around everyone else. 

"Look, I just wanted to tell you, thanks for backing off before. But we talked that night, he understands wasn't your...well, it wasn't your doing, so he won't be bothering with you anymore." Alex said speaking about the night that they all left Starry, when Alex told Casey that Dylan didn't even know that Casey existed. Being confident that Casey understood him, that he wanted to give Dylan the relief that he wasn't going to have anymore issues with Casey.

Dylan was yawning as he was o guard duty of the lobby. He was alone since James had work at Starry. Company would have bee appreciated but Dylan knew better than to whine. Then Alex Andrews appeared and called him over. He eyed the man before doing so. He listened to what he had to say which made him raise a brow. Won't be bothering? Really? Dylan snorted.

"That's good and all but sad to say I don't think your beta understands. He actually asked James Halsey about me. And I'm sure as Hell is real that your beta wasn't looking to hook up with me. James mentioned that he was looking for me and the vibe James got wasn't pleasant. So tell your beta to stop and get off my back." Dylan told Alex coldly. Didn't the man know what his submissive was doing?

Raising an eyebrow, when the hell would Casey have seen Halsey? Looking over at him from where Dylan and him were talking, he clicked his tongue. "At Starry right?" Because unless Casey had another way of thinking that Halsey would even know Dylan, it had to have been at Starry. Casey went to Starry. Alone. Glaring at the floor, he turned back to Dylan, "I wasn't aware, but I'll deliver the message." Alex was pretty damn sure Casey wasn't going out trying to 'hook up' with Dylan either.

"I'm going to assume that the two of you never ended meeting then?" Alex was pissed as hell, but he wanted to make sure that Casey and Dylan never actually met up, and Casey didn't actually deal with any other death eaters.

Dylan nodded as he sighed and crossed his arms. "Yeah. James told me that he came to Starry twice. The second time he finally met me as he was leaving the alley and as I was locking up the shop." Dylan told Alex as he huffed a bit. That night was horrible really.

"Meeting your mate alone was the most scariest thing in the world. He was ready to rip to shreds and it looked like he didn't even care that he'd get blood on his hands. But I could understand just a little. His beta pride was making him do it. It it weren't me he was after, I would have cheered him on. Sad to say its my head his after." Dylan informed the alpha man who was the alpha of the beta who wanted his head and body in pieces.

Alex couldn't even hold back his irritation, "Twice? The word could have been mistaken as a growl easily, he nodded, "What came of the two of you meeting?" He was pretty sure he could figure it out without asking, but right now he wanted all the facts before he went to Casey and actually did blow up. He thought this shit was handled!

Listening to what Dylan was saying did very little to help the frustration that was building up inside him. Casey was risking his life over his pride, that was not flying well with him. If he lost his mate because of something so petty, Alex would be lost. "You're obviously still alive, so I wouldn't be too concerned.."

"Yeah, twice. The first time was him just asking James if anyone has seen me. The second was when he got a scent of him on James after he and I talked at the shop. He was bored and I had no clients in the shop. He had a few hours to kill before his shift would start." Dylan explained as he sighed. If he had known that this was something he'd get from having sex with an alpha, Dylan would probably have said no. Maybe... who knows now.

Obviously still alive?"If I didn't know how to apparate, I'd probably be dead. But like I said, his beta pride must be eating him inside, screaming at him to deal with me who touched wasn't mine. You'd never understand your submissive because your pride is different from his own. But I can understand him a little. I'm not defending him at all. By all means, punish him if you like. But from what I managed to read up on your kind, beta's have it bad. If they don't fix their problems their way. their own wolf would fix it for them and it'll be messier." Dylan said seriously. He respected the beta a little bit for doing what he did. He was just glad that he got out alive.

Alex grabbed Dylan's robe's and pinned him up on the wall, "I'll listen to you talk, but do not speak of Casey like that. I'm well aware of what I can and cannot do with my mate, do not tell me what I can do." Alex didn't want to hear this boy talk about what he should do with Casey, when Casey was purely Alex's, this boy has no say whatsoever about what he would so with his mate. This human knew nothing about how werewolves are, even less about they feel. "What you read in books is nothing, you nothing about what we feel. Do not assume you do."

Dropping Dylan on the ground, Alex sneered, backing away before people got called over here. "I handle it, how I handle it is none of your concern." He was not sure how he was going to handle it, but he would. Casey couldn't continue to risk things like this on his own right now. He wasn't going to protect Dylan from Casey, but he didn't want Casey somewhere that would put him in danger. Like Knockturn Alley with Dylan and other death eater. Alex truly wished now more than ever that he had been thinking clearly that night, one night with the boy was not worth this.

When Alex had gotten ticked off and pinned him to the wall, Dylan didn't even flinched. He knew it was coming. "Speak what of your mate in what way? If you havent' noticed, I was actually complimenting him. I'm not telling you what to do at all. I'm suggesting that if you love your mate alive and well, he should back off before he gets noticed by others." Dylan suggested as he remembered James mentioning that the beta was actually muggleborn. Dylan didn't care but not everyone else was as caree free as he was.

When he was dropped back on the ground, Dylan huffed. "You didn't have to be rough on me. Facing your beta was tough enough, I'm nt suicidal to face the alpha." Dylan commented as he fixed his clothes once more. What was it with creatures and their short tempers? There was a reason he liked vampires better. They were more patient than saints are,

Glaring, "Speak of him as if you know what it means to be a beta, to be an alpha, as if you know what we feel and how we think. Speak of him as if you have a right to suggest that I do a damn thing to him." Alex spoke about how Dylan dare tell him if he could punish Casey, that was none Dylan's damn business.

What the hell did Dylan mean, noticed? "He's getting attention from others than?" Alex could not think of a worse situation to be in, unless they found Casey's bloodstatus.

Dylan scoffed. "I may not know what its like to be a creature of your kind. But at least I saw what your beta did. Did you? I've read about it. His inner self would kill him in many ways, leaving him broken if he didn't do anything. Like I said, if it were someone else, I would have supported him and encouraged him. Too bad its my head his after,." Dylan told Alex. Seriously, he was having another strong of worse days ever. First the beta... now the alpha? Oh hell no!

He snorted. "Of course he got attention. He asked for me at Starry when many of those that over heard knew of me and knew me personally. They wondered why your beta was looking for me with so much seriousness. If he steps in Starry again alone, I think those people will attempt something. Don't know what but they will." Dylan explained as best as he could without appearing concerned at all. He wasn't.
