Good To See You Again, Cherub [Connor]

Lucien simply chuckled and shook his head. "Its fine. If you want to hold my hand, go ahead and just hold it. I will never reject your touch, Cherub. I welcome it even." he encouraged Connor with a smile too. Connor was so adorable that Lucien couldn't believe that Connor was his... or on the way to be his at least.

Connor intertwined his fingers with Lucien's which made the French smile. But he was more surprised when Connor placed a kiss on his cheek. Lucien smiled and chuckled a bit. He then shook his head and gently placed Connor's head back on his shoulder. "Its fine. Like I said, I welcome every touch and moment when its from you." he told Connor and moved closer to adjust them both so that Lucien could wrap one arm around Connor's waist while the other hand held Connor's. They just stayed that way for a bit which Lucien liked the most.

Lucien chuckled. "I am glad that you like it, Cherub. You and only you will have that name." he shared and just held Connor close, enjoying the peace between them.

Nodding his head into Lucien's neck and shoulder, Connor didn't stop himself from smiling. He couldn't even if he wanted to. This was nicer than he thought it was, he didn't think of himself as lonely until this moment, before Lucien, Connor had never done this. He had never cuddled, accept for with his mum when he was a child. That's what they were doing, right now, they were cuddling in the library. Where anyone could see them, and Connor didn't even care. "I'll..I'll remember that." It made him feel good that Lucien would let him do this whenever he wanted, he wanted Connor to even.

"Have you ever done this before?" Connor whispered, he was unsure if he wanted to do know the answer, but he was curious anyway. Having to have cuddled isn't really the same as having to have dated before, plus Lucien was a lot more in control of himself than Connor was.

Even though they've only been a official to Connor for a few minutes, something inside of himself tightened and made Connor smile, the name was something Lucien was giving him. And only him.

When Connor accepted the closeness, Lucien remained smiling and enjoying the moment. Then Connor said that he would remember that it was alright for him to hold or touch Lucien whenever he wanted. This made Lucien happier inside. "If you feel that you want to hug me or just be close, don't ever think that I'd reject you. Feel free to hug me. I'd like it. Even if there would be others. I'd love it better when people see how happy I am. I get to rub it in their faces." he joked and chuckled a bit.

Then Connor asked if he had done this before, "No, I haven't. My mother maybe when I was younger but aside from her, no one else." Lucien answered and he began rub Connor's back, drawing little circles as he did so.

"Okay, good, I...I like that I'm the, you know, the only one." Connor said aloud, not really to anyone, just said it as he was thinking. It was nice to be able to do this, maybe if they were on the ground they'd be more comfortable, but Connor was in no rush to move his body from Lucien's just yet. He'd say something another day at another time, that maybe they could do this in the field or maybe they could find a comfortable furniture where they both could sit, instead of separate chairs.

"I, I..It doesn't really matter what they think anyway right? I mean...it's me and you." Connor hoped that was the right thing to say.

When he heard that Connor was glad he chuckled. "Of course, Cherub. I don't think anyone here will compare to you." he told Connor as he looked down and smiled at the one person who was in his arms. No one had ever gotten this close to Lucien before and he wondered what life would have been like if his brother's were the way they were.

He then chuckled and nodded. "What people say won't matter as long as we both are happy. We cannot base what we have between us upon their opinion. It would not make us happy for sure." Lucien explained, knowing well that Connor understood what he meant.

Even though he wasn't tired and he knew he wasn't going to fall asleep, Connor close his eyes listening to Lucien talk to him. Hearing Lucien laugh from his spot between his neck and shoulder, Connor just relaxed. "I'm never been into anyone to think to try this before...but I like that we did." Lucien was different, he made Connor feel good and shy, but made him feel like he could be more open do more than what he could with other people around.

"I like this..I'm not sure what it is, but I'm happy doing it with you. Maybe I'll even find a nickname for you." Connor teased bravely, still not opening his eyes, liking his spot and comfort just fine to ruin it.

He chuckled and nodded. He had to agree that even Lucien himself had not done this sort of thing with anyone before. "I like this too. I hope we get to do this more often." he said as he placed a kiss on Connor's head softly. Being Connor made Lucien feel so calm and hope that the future would be brighter for them both.

He smiled and chuckled. "A name from you and one you call me would be pleasing. Something different and only you can call me. I'd like that. We don't have to know what we are doing. As long as it feels right and we're both happy, it'll work out, Cherub." he explained to Connor with so much affection in his tone.

Opening his eyes and looking at the book left on the table, Connor shook his head, "You're distracting me from studying." He said aloud, without any movement to get off of Lucien, even though he wanted to study, he had spent most of his Hogwarts career with his nose in a book. The blonde had never cuddled with someone like this before, his potions book could wait until tomorrow. He was more than confident that he knew what was he doing when it came to the class anyway to get him through tomorrow.

"I don't know a lot of words in French, but can I just call you my Lion(Lee-on)?" Connor said taking the French word for "Lion", it was so simple in comparison to the gentle name Lucien kept calling him. But it's what Connor felt, his lion was fierce and well, he made the tall boy feel safe. His own lion.

Lucien couldn't help but chuckle when Connor said that he was distracting the other from studying but his Cherub made no move in moving away to study. "Am I now? Hmmm... I wonder if I should move then... Should I, Cherub?" Lucien teased as he continued to trace circles on Connor's side. This moment was too precious to Lucien as he had never had anything like this before. It had always been himself and he barely had friends as he was French which was something the others didn't seem to like about him. He wondered if not going to Beaubaxton was a mistake. But then again, if he went there, he would never had known Connor at all... Even if it took him until his Seventh year to do so.

Connor spoke and Lucien listened. He chuckled again when his Cherub called 'Lion' (Lee-on). Lucien didn't mind being called what his House represented. He smiled. "As long as its only you calling me that, Cherub, I don't mind. Its.... cute." he teased once more as he chuckled and placed another kiss on Connor's head and hugged the other just a bit more tighter.

"Your making fun of me." Connor stated out loud, he wasn't upset, it was as if he was making sure that was what Lucien was doing. He didn't feel offended, but he wasn't sure how to return the teasings either. So he attempted, "Don't you dare, I can study tomorrow." Connor replied, even though he knew he'd probably stay up tonight to do it, it was something he had to do, but it was something he always did.

Blushing when Lucien called him cute, he didn't know what to say. He just wanted to return the favor, the small nickname Lucien gave him made him feel good, so he wanted Lucien to feel that way too. "I..I don't, I mean, I thought of it. I'm okay with it..I'm not very good at French, but I do that and uhm, yeah. You just make me feel safe and it's nice, I don't know. Sorry I'm being such a kid about this." Connor started to ramble, pulling up from his spot on Lucien.
