Josh was impressed at his sister. She was holding well on her own. He didn't think she would be able to say what she did, making the other use his Merlin given brain. He was so amused at wha the other two were doing that concentrating on the book was so hard. When Daj asked his sister a string of inquiries, Chelsey was going to have to think carefully before she answered or she'd be screwed over.
Then to make the entertainment a bit more interesting, Chelsey decided to bring him into it. Josh shook his head behind his book before bringing it down and smiling at Daj. the the older boy spoke, hsi mouth gaped open. Oh he was gooooood! Josh could see where Daj was going with his argument and he had a feeling Chelsey would lose this one for some reason. Too bad.

Not understanding what Daj was saying to her, she didn't know how long she had been playing with her. She was only seven. "That's a weird question. I don't know. My mummy's hair I guess..." Chelsey scrunched her eyebrows not really getting why it mattered. "Daddy let me once. But that was a long time ago."
Smiling again, she knew how to win this one. Because it always won. Always always. With Josh. With Papa...sometimes. Kinda. Oh well. "Daddy will believe me. Daddy always believes me. Daddy doesn't even like you. He's never given Josh a gift like that when we go to Jason's." Chelsey shook her head at him, he attitude getting more obvious. "But if Josh says so, Papa will believe me too. But just answer the question! Will you let me play with your hair or not!?"
Daj mentally smirked. This was so easy. "Unless you have at least fixed ten different people's hair, there is no way you are entrusted with hair. What assurance do I have that you do a good job at it? What did your mum and dad say after you fixed their hair? What were their comments?" he asked her again. He'd keep asking and asking till she herself gives up. And if there was one thing Daj was good at, it was making people give up.
He just blinked at her, not showing an emotion of laughter and amusement at all. "I'm new, of course your dad would be wary of me. I would have worried if your father just allowed me to watch two of his progeny. Would you want do the same?" he asked her, throwing in the big word for safety measure. If he'd get her confused, she'd give up as well.

Josh was listening to Daj who was trying to confuse Chelsey. If Josh wasn't hell bent on making Daj suffer for his comment about him earlier, Josh would have applauded his attempts. Chelsey was easily confused and it would only be a matter of time. Well, to Josh it was always easy. However, this was a first that someone else who wasn't family was facing Chelsey. He wondered what Chelsey would do now when Daj clearly wanted to say 'there is no way your touching my hair'.
Then he was brought up once more which made him raise a brow. Chelsey argued but Daj came right back. He listened and nodded a bit behind his book. "He has a point, Chels." he commented casually, sliding the fact about Daj using a big word on Chelsey. 'Progeny'. Ha! Genius!

Frowning, Chelsey looked down and nodded, "Yeah, okay. I thought so. Everyone always tells me no." Chelsey didn't even sound angry, she was just disappointed. When she got excited about and nice about asking, she was told no. When she was mean, she was told no. She wished she was at her mummy's instead of here, maybe she could floo her. Her mummy told her she could always floor her. "Can you unlock Papa's office then? I can't undo the latch by myself and Dadddy and Papa get mad when I use the chair to do it."
"I already said okay. You don't need to call me names!" Chelsey said a little more embarrassed and hurt that the stranger was name calling her now. She wanted her Daddy and Papa to come home now! Or she wanted to go to Jason's. Uncle Jason was nicer to her and she had her cousin to play with. "Nevermind! I don't want your help anymore!" Chelsey would get into the office without that stupid babysitter's help! She turned to Josh when he teamed up against her, "Worst big brother ever." Chelsey ran off to the kitchen to move the chair the office to call her mummy.
