Jason laid out on the grass, he wasn't used to being in a place so calm where everyone mostly was okay with their lives. Going to Drumstang, studying dark magic, going home and learning it only to go back to school to learn it, only to be transferred to a place that was sunshine and fairy dust? Jason never felt more out of place, the start of the school year and he was already ready to curse someone. Mainly himself. When he heard movement, the sixth year didn't even open his eyes, whoever it was could go the bloody hell away. He didn't want to see anyone, he didn't want to talk to anyone, he sure as hell didn't want to explain why he was laying in the grass in the middle of the garden by himself.
Straining himself to hear more movement, walking, talking, anything, he gave in and opened his eyes to see if there was anything or anyone around. Not seeing anyone, he figured it was just an animal running through. Jason didn't get up to go look, he squinted his eyes at the sunlight, only to just give in and close them again to ignore the bright light. Maybe he should have just written home and told his mum that he wanted to go back to Drumstang, but he already knew she wasn't going to transfer him back. Wanting to get Jason as far away from light magic as he possibly could, he would just have to deal with the new life he was living in a new school.
"Bloody hell...." Jason mumbled to himself, those quiet words though were only the beginning. As soon as the words came out, he yelled, it wasn't even words, just a loud stressed out scream. Not wanting to practice dark magic, but not wanting to be alone in follow his father, Jason didn't know what to do for his family. Wanting to please his mother, the one who wasn't in Askaban, or at least not being sentenced, Jason hadn't written home and complained about being in this school. Some days, like today, he wished the world would just swallow him up.
