Anne sighed and dropped her bag by a seat.
This day wasn't going to get any better was it? She had an older boy with a prefect in his pocket cross with not only her, but Puplia and Dean as well. She needed this class desperately. Herbology is the closest thing to gardening she could get, and gardening was her life.

She sat down and put on her dragon-hide gloves. She hummed softly to herself while setting up her work area, but when she turned around, she saw a handsome face inches from her own. She blinked before speaking "Oh. Hello."

Ace watched as the younger girl gathered her things. She turned around rather suddenly, surprising him. She blushed before blinking it away. "Oh hello." She spoke with a soft french accent. He had to bite back a laugh.

"Hey there." He watched as she stood there with a pile of herbology garb in her arms. "Here, let me take that." He slowly took about half of the pile away from her. She was quite pretty actually, but she seemed a bit off.

"Have I seen you around her before Miss..." He trailed off. Waiting for her to tell him her name.

"Oh thank you. It was a bit heavy." She winced at the lack of elegance in her words. She was relieved when the other boy took about half of the load out of her arms.

"I'm Anne, and you?" She looked at the handsome boy expectantly. She smiled warmly. He was a nice fellow she supposed. He had light hair, and blue eyes. A bit dark to be from England, so she supposed he was from America.

"Do you know what we're working on today? I've just arrived today, and it looks as though you're my partner today." She smiled at him.
