Appearance: Ace is a tan boy with a small spray of freckles across his face. His eyes are blue-green, reminiscent of a pond. His light chestnut hair falls to his chin. Her has a very thoughtful stare about him. He dresses like he doesn't care.
Character History: Ace has always been very inquisitive, maybe that's because his grandparents never told him the answers. He was born in a muggle household. Surrounded by technology. He read and searched for the answers his heart desired, but he could never find them. That is, until he got his letter. His grandparents paled when he discovered it. He gave them a strange look. 'Addressed to Mr. A. Anima, The bedroom down the hall, 643 Broadway, San Francisco, California. Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.' Ace tilted his head, Witchcraft? Wasn't that a sin? He asked them what was going on. Why was he getting letters from a school for witches? They told them about his mother, and how she had given him up after his father died. Told him everything he had always wanted to know. And it left him feeling empty. Like nothing had changed with this information. He always had more questions. Always. When he got to Hogwarts, he felt a sense of belonging. Like he had finally found out where he belonged.
Family History: Ace came from a long line of purebloods, on both side really, but one of his ancestors, being a squib, bred with muggles, and et cetera. His father's family was a lenient pureblood family. And their only order was not to breed with muggleborns. Well, we see how that turned out.
Parents: Jerri Anima (Nee, Relinquo) was a muggle girl. Born in a Baptist muggle family. She was taught that witchcraft was a horrible sin. Then she got her letter. She was horrified. She was one of those awful things? Her parents were scared, were they going to be struck down for raising a witch? Jerri was shipped off to Hogwarts, and her parents prayed until they couldn't pray any longer. They only picked up their daughter when they felt as if the good Lord would let them. When she became pregnant with her pure-blood husbands child, she was elated. As long as she had her darling, she was alright.
Sean Anima, was raised as a pureblood, and raised as a pureblood. He could never have a half-blood child, or else he would be killed. No longer his parents son. No longer an Anima. After meeting and falling in love with Jerri, she had his child. His picture on the family tree glowed with such an intensity that it burned off. This was the signal showing that he was now the 'proud father' of a half blood child and therefore needed to be killed. His aunt Mary went to his home a couple of years later and greeted him warmly. She cooed over her great-nephew and killed her own.
