Emilia "Emili" Reid

Birthday: November 2, 1982

Appearance: Emili has pale skin and pale blond hair. Her wide blue eyes make her baby doll face even cuter. Many think she looks too much like a little girl for being her age but she thinks it gives her a delicate look. She has an innocent, kind demeanor but it's easy to see intelligence in her eyes. She's not as naive as she lets people think.

Likes: Emili likes learning. She prefers a hands on method and gets bored doing too much reading but she's good at homework. Like most girls she's obsessed with boys and she has a big love of clothes. Her favorite thing to do is gossip with her friends and people watch. She also enjoys adventure and usually goes to the muggle world specifically to find trouble that won't ruin her wizarding world reputation. She loves fixing things and people and problems.

Dislikes: Emili hates sitting still and seeing people hurt. If she knows somethings wrong she has to fix it even if it's not her business. She snoops too much but doesn't like dealing with the consequences. Emili has a irrational fear of water and won't go near the Black Lake. Emili also hates anything with a strong taste like things that are sweet or sour or spicy.

Character History: Emili was born in a small wizarding town in England but when she was six her parents split up so she spent half the year in America with her dad and half the year in England with her mom. Her family isn't rich but they're well off and she usually gets what she wants when she wants it. She's rebellious against her parents who she feels ignored by because of her brother's achievements and her younger sister's problems. When she was thirteen she snuck out and got drunk for the first time and some boys took advantage of her. It ruined her reputation at school and people made fun of her when they found out. Now people think she's easy and she does anything she can to improve her reputation. She doesn't stay under the radar but she wishes she could. She distrusts everyone and finds it hard to open up but she always talks about herself, just without saying much. She also listens a lot which is how she meddles with people's lives.

Family History: Emili's mom is named Hailey and her dad is named Gerard. She has an older brother called Devin and her younger sister is named Alexandra or Alex for short. Her parents got married young because Hailey was pregnant. Things worked out well at first but after Emili's birth things got strained between Hailey and Gerard. Gerard was constantly out with friends or working, and later with other women, while Hailey stayed at home with their kids. Hailey wanted a loving husband and Gerard didn't want to be the bread and butter for his family. When Alex was three they split up due to Gerard getting another woman pregnant. Six months later they were divorced. Gerard followed the girl to America to be with his new daughter but the girl didn't want to be with him so he left her alone and just stayed there. Hailey remarried a halfblood named Charlie who has more time for her. Devin is a model student who graduated top of his class, has a perfect job, and is married to a perfect girl with good manners and a good reputation, making Emili resent him. Alex is two years younger than Emili and sufferred a lot during the divorce. She's currently home schooled due to being depressed and Emili is jealous that she gets so much attention from both her parents.

Siblings: Devin Reid, twenty, brother. Alexandra "Alex" Reid, fourteen, sister. Emili also has a unknown sister that's ten.

What House do you think fits your character the most? I think Emili would be a good Ravenclaw because she likes learning. She would be a good Hufflepuff because she always wants to help people. She would be a good Gryffindor because she meddles and likes adventure. She would be a good Slytherin because she hides who she is for a greater purpose. Emili would be good in any house.

RP Sample:

Emili's busom heaved with a lack of breath. She hated running up any stairs but a girl has to do what a girl has to do to get information. Two third years were talking about a girl they were bullying and she had to follow them to find out her name. She finally heard it and collapsed against the stairs in exhaustion. Sometimes she thought she wasn't cut out for this, but then she thought about her life without it and knew that she had to. She felt compelled. But she also thought it would be nice to just sit back and let people handle themselves. She was suddenly overcome by guilt and almost felt like crying. She helped so many people, she had no idea where they would be without that extra support there. "Everyone deserves help," she thought with a grin. So she went off in search of the third year she knew was being bullied.
