Rolling his eyes, Alex dropped the topic again, it was something he wanted for his brother, but he knew he couldn't force it. Well, technically he could, but not if he wanted to keep any type of solid relationship with Jason. "Fine. I get it okay?" It came out as a half growl-half whine. They've the conversation more then enough times that Alex should just be smart enough to drop it all together, but he knew he wouldn't stop trying.
"It's once a month, error on my end. But you know what I meant." As he said him and Casey were happy with it, Alex knew he was. Casey though, while Alex felt good with his mate and knew he wouldn't find a better one. He didn't think Casey nearly embraced the wolf side as well as Alex does, still showing signs of being humiliated about being a wolf. It angered Alex in so many ways, but what did Casey want him to do? It wasn't like he forced the turning onto Casey. It wasn't even something he talked him to doing like he was with Jason. But after that fight they had before, Casey just sounded embarrassed of the wolf more than he wanted to be one.
Snorting into his drink, Alex gave a half a smile, "Okay cool guy, where are all these girls that fall at your feet huh.?" Looking around the bar as if they would just be lining up for his younger brother. Mocking Jason was like a second reaction, it wasn't even something the older brother needed to think about anymore. Talking about this though, made him think of Casey again. Made him wonder if Casey was second guessing what Alex was doing after the night with Davenport.
"Because we graduated years before you did! You had all open chances to be the top notch guy without me and Lynn there!" Alex said as if there was something to blame. He was smiling so big though, amused about his school days. Him and Lynn was so attached, they were best friends. He really did think he was going to spend the rest of his life with her, and really, he almost did. She left him. He would have never left her, even if now he could admit he wasn't the happiest. That was his kid's mother, how he could have left her? But since she walked out, she's been getting more and more distant over the years. Chelsey had been so broken up about her not showing up at the little birthday get together, Alex was so pissed off.
"I guess I should have figured she wouldn't, she signed off the kids to Casey. Casey is their legal parent. This happened a few weeks ago, I thought she'd still be involved though. Chelsey needs a girl around. Me and Casey can't play dress up or whatever the fuck man, I don't know how she do that. I was ready to kill her I was so mad, but I couldn't explain that to Chels. She's 5, all she's going to hear is 'mommy isn't here', then Casey is the bad guy. Who's the fair too?" Alex ranted a little, pissed off that he couldn't fix it when Lynn was no-call, no-show. Alex couldn't force her to be a mom, but he shouldn't have to either.
