Donovan owled both Benjamin and Davion to meet him in his private room that night, with matters that he didn't speak of in the letter. Saying nothing more than he wished to speak with them that night and to not be late, he hoped that they wouldn't be. Though, he wouldn't have asked if he thought they didn't take any of this seriously. Taking a seat on the couch in the room, he twirled his firewhiskey in a glass, closing his eyes. Laying his head back against the couch, Donovan attempted to clear his mind of everything. His family, aside from his dad, were in hiding. He hadn't spoke much to them, but he tried to visit the house at much as he could, just to know that Draco and his mum was alive and safe.
Aside from trying to take over from his father, Donovan has been trying to prove himself as a leader, which in a long shot, wasn't that easy. Not that he thought it would be but, with as many people who did follow in him because of his heritage, he though it would have come easier. In a short though, Donovan was glad he had to prove himself to lead this group, who wanted to lead a bunch of pansy ass people who were follow a man just over twenty, blind anyway?
Asking Alex, someone who had only been in the ranks a few years, but as done nothing but what he was told by his father made Donovan trust him slowly, once he brought the man to be his guard he pointed out Benjamin, the man who fought beside Donovan's father the first time. So Donovan kept an eye on him, that eye lead to Benjamin's friend, Davion as well. Watching the two without a word, Donovan couldn't help but be impressed by the two older men, they had so much experience and yet they still stood here even after fight twice. Donovan wanted both of them to fight beside him, he wanted both of them to help him lead this revolution to the next level. Donovan wasn't naive enough to think that he knew everything there was too know, he knew he could learn from these men as well as lead them. They had experience where he did not.
Moving his leg up to the couch, he left on leg bent and hanging loosely while he waited for the two to show up. Taking a sip of the cold whiskey, he didn't see the two men turning away his offer, because that alone would like betrayal to the highest regard. Donovan was positive even if the two men didn't want to accept his offer, they would anyway. That wasn't what he wanted though, if he was going to make this world better, he needed people to fight with him that wanted to fight. He would make sure to clear it up with them when they came. "Come in," Donovan responded to the knock on the door.
