Standing out the hospital, James hadn't really looked into anyone, so he hoped that they would grab the right one. Leaning against the wall, he wasn't sure if it really mattered who they grabbed anyway. Donovan was brief in the letter, if he had wanted someone specific, he would have said so right? So if they grabbed a random Joe in a healer's robe, it shouldn't matter. "Did he say who to you? Because man, this is lame. We can just grab anyone that's alone." Which was pretty common with everyone walking about, not only did Donovan not give them anyone specific, but he gave them only a two day deadline. How did you get the perfect person without any information anyway?
"Man, fuck it. Let's just get the next one who comes by themselves, I don't want to be out here all night." Which was true, he'd like to be in home in bed now! It was only 2am, and Gabe was probably going to be worried as hell about why he was still out this late. Healers switched shifts now, but most just floo'd inside in the building to go home. Sometimes though, they would come out to apperate home. James was just waiting on the perfect person, someone who wasn't super young and probably knew into the healing business and not some too old to give them too much trouble. Watching the doors, which were pretty much empty because, oh yeah, 2 bloody am!
"Him. Young, healer robe, and doesn't look like too much of a fight." James finally said, pulling out his wand, wanting to get home already.
Rowan knelt crouched down, perched against one of the many brick walls that surrounded the somewhat ancient hospital. He was tired and getting fed up of waiting, it annoyed him how just because they were the youngest that they got the idiotic missions like this. It was 2am for godness sake and here they were staking out a hospital for a weak target. It was frustrating to say the least. As his partner in crime and long term closest friend spoke to him Rowan glanced up at the man through the tops of his eyes. "Tell me who? Wouldn't that require too much planning?" He questioned back sarcastically before collapsing on the floor to sit down.
Rowan wasn't known for his patience in the slightest, he acted on the spur of the moment and went along with whatever felt best at time. Growing up his grandfather had always had a go at him for it saying that it would be his downfall, did Rowan care though? Not in the slightest. Kicking his legs out he lent against the wall, part of him wanted to whine when James told him they'd just get the next one that came out. So much for making himself comfortable. When he'd been told to go get a healer where else would he go other then mungo's? "Missing lover boy are we?" He began to tease with a sadistic look crossing his face. Rowan didnt care much for the idea of 'love', it was messed up and weak but it gave ample room for him to make fun of others for. "Im sure he's keeping the bed warm for you."
Leaning forward he slowly got to his feet, his black robes didnt make the moving around parts of the job easiest but he refused to wear other clothes. "Black hair?" Rowan questioned one step ahead of his friend with his wand already out and pointing in the mans direction, maybe things would be fun after all. He did hate things that didnt put up a fight though, they were weak and irritating. What was the point of taking the life from something that didnt want to cherish it? It was those that had the most to loose that made his life interesting. Rowan had to remind himself briefly of the orders to bring him back alive, it always sucked the enjoyment out of missions...
Pepijn has had a long day of work. For some reason the other healer decided it was a good idea to be sick at one of the busiest days ever. This left the trainee healer with only one experienced healer. Together they had to do the work of three people. During his day, the young healer wasn’t paying full attention either. His mind was somewhere else than his body. Daydreaming about his Jason had made him giggling. Often had people either said that he looked too happy for someone in a hospital. Others were cheered up by the bubbly mood of the curly haired man.
All the energy and happy emotions did seem to have a limit at 2 am. Exhausted, he quickly finished his last few tasks before he got ready to return home. Because he still lived with his muggle mother, he could not transport through the floo system. After saying goodbye to his trainer, Leon Everitt, he exited the old hospital building. Putting his leather jacket on, he took a pack of cigarettes out of one of his pockets. After picking one, he lightened it and inhaled. It was a bad habit he had picked up from David, as well as most of his bad habits actually. Still the muggleborn wizard was his only true friend, and he had always stayed stick to the guy. All though he actually doubted if it would be smart. Especially now he was with Jason, Davy probably would not like that at all.
Waiting a little in front of the Hospital he greeted the two healers from Artifact Accidents who passed him by. Checking his watch to see when the bus would be arriving at the nearest bus stop, he decided it might be better to use the Knight bus instead of the muggle bus or apparating. Muggles didn’t appreciate it very much when people randomly appeared in their streets. So first he would finish his cigarette and then make some spaghetti for himself, because he was getting rather hungry, despite all the gruesome things he had seen today.

Eric was making his way out for the night. He was tired after having a bunch of patients coming in because of poisoning. Seiously? How many wizards still use their Merlin given brain?! Can't they tell the difference between a bad potion and a good one? He sighed as he shook his head in irritation. At the moment, he was the only available Healer in his department and he even had less Healers-in-Training. Eric needed to speak to the Board if they wanted him to stay longer.
As he tighten his hold on his jacket around him, he saw a familiar blacked hair trainee: Fecklestein. How the man survived his whole life with such a name, Eric could never understand. But the man man was capable... if only he wasn't easily nervous and all. "Fecklestein, hold on." Eric called out. He needed to ask if the Spell Damage Department had any extra trainees he could use for the next three days. Merlin knows how hard it was to make poison cures.
Taking another drag of his cigarette, he breathed in the toxins before he exhaled and a cloud of smoke formed around him. Of course he knew this was bad for him, his mother called them death sticks and his father almost died again from a heart attack when he found out. Still for some reason it seemed hard to stop. The stress from the job needed to be compressed by something. Just when he finished it, he heard a voice near him. A little bit startled he looked around and found himself facing a healer from another department. “Ah... M-Mr. H-heylel..” He stuttered like always but there was a small friendly smile on his face when he put out his cigarette. “W-what is t-the m-matter?” Actually he was about to leave but he was willing to listen to what the other healer had to say. Heylel was a fully trained one after all. Despite that he had seen the man around the building quite often now, he still could not help but being nervous. People seemed to have that kind of effect on him for some reason.

Eric couldn't help but snort a little bit. Pepijn Fecklstein was as everyone said he was, easily nervous when spoken too. "Relax, Fecklestein. You're not in trouble. I just wanted to ask if your department has any extra pair of trainees I can borrow for the next three or four days. My department has been receiving far too many poisoned patients and I can't brew a dozen cure on my own even with a time turner. Not that I have one even." he explained as he sighed.
He didn't want to have to go to the Department Head just yet to ask if they had spare hands. Eric was going to ask a trainee directly so that he couldn't and wouldn't dare lie to his face. Eric needed more trainees and even if he was a full fledged Healer, he wasn't powerful to take everything alone. He still needed staff. The ones he had were incompetent and Eric would rather cut his arm off that trust those Blasted End Skwet brains near a cauldron.
Pepijn blinked a little why did Heylel think that he thought that he was in trouble. Those damned nerves always got in his way from having a usual conversation. Moving his hand closer to his mouth, he began to bite his nails, another nervous habit. “O-ofc-course not, why w-would I b-be?” He said almost like he did was in trouble which was not true. Well maybe because he had been a little bubbly and fuzzy today and not done everything perfectly. However that was more Leon’s concern. Furthermore the mood might go over once Jason and he will be longer together. Perhaps then he won’t blush every time he thought about the day he first visited Jason’s house. They just kissed, nothing more but it a lot for the young healer.
“Aah.. t-trainees you a-ask..” He said as he rubbed his chin frowning a little as he thought. “W-well erm c-currently I am t-the only one..” He admitted, not sure if he would be much of a help for the other man. “P-perhaps Leon c-can b-borrow me f-for a few days… Potions used t-to be one of t-the r-rare classes I w-was really g-good at.”

Eric wondered if it was a nerve thing that made Fecklstein stutter or it was a social thing that he'd stutter when with crowds. Eric shook the thought off since it was not what he had stopped the trainee for. "Like I said, your not in trouble." he repeated calmly.
Then the trainee said that his department had no other trainees at the moment but him. He sighed. Seriously? Was the medical department of the Magical world THAT frightening for people not to take it? Then Fecklestein mentioned that his head of let him be borrowed for a few days. One hand is better than nothing. Eric sighed. "Well, one help is better than nothing. I'll ask you Head in the morning. If he agrees, then you'll be reporting to me for the next three or four days." Eric said seriously and pulled his jacket closer.
"That's about it. Have a good night, Fecklsetein." he said as he then went to the apparating point and went home.

James stood back grabbing Rowan's robe collar, pulling him back as well, he knew the other man was just as impatient as he was to get this over with. He didn't say anything and let go of Rowan as soon as James was stopped. Watching the small exchange between the two men, it was obvious that the original one was timid to the other. They looked the same size and there couldn't be much a difference in age between the two, so were they not equally talented? James wrinkled his nose, annoyed by having to wait to see what happens. Relieved to when the second man walked away, James approached the original one. "Hey!" He said to Pep, "I know I'm bugging you, and fuck it's late, but I snapped my wand apperiating here. Have you already summed the knight bus by any chance?"
His wand was safely tucked away in his robe, but he wanted to make sure that the knight bus wasn't already on it's way over here before he grabbed the guy. Witnesses would just cause trouble when they got back, and that was the last thing either him or Rowan needed, in James's opinion. Being the younger ones of the group, meant they were already get the butt end of the jobs. He didn't even look at Rowan, not really wanting the man in front of him to know that him and Rowan were together.
"I gotta get home and the wand shop is closed you know?" James was more than sure that if the man did draw his wand to get the bus, either him or Rowan could grab it, while the other one grabbed the man, before apperating.
“Okey, I g-guess I will h-hear it in t-the morning from Leon t-then. Sir, I am looking f-forward t-to see how your d-dep-partment is like.” The curly haired man said with honesty. Truly Pepijn was kind of exited to explore new things, this was a great opportunity for him. Managing to pull off a small smile as the other healer said good bye he waved in a little childish way. “Good n-night to you t-too, Mr. H-heylel.” He said as the other man walked off to go home.
Just when he wanted to call out for the knight bus, another man appeared. This one wasn’t familiar to him. The man wasn’t that old and he appeared to be around his age. Though the guy did look a little edgy, Pepijn always stayed polite despite feeling a little uncomfortable, talking to strangers. “Oh.. aah... N-no, I just w-was a-about t-to..” He answered the question of the man. ‘Snapped his wand? Like how do you do that?’ Pepijn questioned himself in his thoughts but didn’t ask the man. The only thing he did was raising his eyebrow slightly.
He was a little too tired to wonder more, so he simply nodded to the other man. “I’m sorry t-to hear that, I-I guess I will j-just summon the b-bus for us t-then.” He mumbled and took his wand from his pocket.
