James was actually excited that his boyfriend kept to his word about going out on a date, and even more excited about being at the fair. He held Gabe's hand, and leaned up and kissed his cheek, they didn't get to go out and do this all that often. It was nice to be able to get out and do this as much as he wanted to. "Thank you, I didn't think you were actually gonna take me here. I thought you were just being funny." He pulled the older man, into the fair grounds, wanting to get on the move with everything. It wasn't something James got to do growing up, he wanted to be able to hang out and go out on dates, but he didn't really get the chance. Unless he figured out a way to steal tickets, which James hadn't figured out how to do until after Hogwarts, where he wasn't allowed to use magic underage outside of school anyway.

"This is pretty awesome, I get the whole weekend with you." So long as James didn't get owled for training or anything, he didn't have any plans for anything else for the weekend with Gabe. He was careful to keep his hands away from his eyes, because he decided since they were out, he'd actual get dressed a little more. He had on his eye liner and his tongue piercing in. His hair was even back to his dark black again. James was pretty sure that Gabe was more attracted to his darker scene look than his blonde hair, even if he did say he liked it. 

Grinning, he wanted to ride something right now. "Where to first?" James didn't have the patience to wait and walk around right now.

Gabe rarely promised something to James and didn't go through with it. When he'd promised the weekend dedicated to James he had meant it. Although James didn't like muggle things, despite his habit of watching the tv, Gabe had chosen the fair. He wanted the younger male to just let loose and enjoy everyday life outside of his hectic lifestyle. The guitarist smirked when James started on and on about how he'd thought this was going to be a joke and things like that. Gabe couldn't help but smile. "I made you a promise babe," he said as a returned the kiss. Letting himself be dragged along by the shorter male Gabe didn't complain. This was all for James. As the moved about, Gabe took in the scenery. There were so many people out today that it was impossible to tell who was who. His smile softened as a group of young kids ran past then screaming about cotton candy.

"Well, since I know how indecisive you're going to be, how about we go to the Ferris wheel first." He changed direction and tugged for James to follow along. "Afterwards let's win you a few things and get food. That way you'll have time to think about what you want to do after all of that," he spoke. Gabe knew that James was a girl at heart. Never knowing what he wanted to do, but always wanting everything. He smirked. "You're really adorable right now."

James thought about it and nodded, looking up at the Ferris Wheel, raising an eyebrow a little worried. "These things aren't very safe..are they?" James was raised in the muggle world, but he was never able to go out and do these things. So standing there looking up at it, James didn't think it was such a good idea anymore. He knew he had his wand with him, but he didn't know if he would be able to pull it out in time. James wasn't easily scared when it came to missions, but looking up at the ride, James didn't even realize he was holding Gabes hand tighter.

Smiling when he turned to his boyfriend, he shoved him with the hand that wasn't holding Gabe's, "I'm sexy. Adorable is for innocent kiddies." James even stuck out his tongue to show the bling on his tongue with the word 'sexy' in white print. But he looked up at ride again, but stayed in like. "We should ride stuff first...because we'll be stuck carrying things and..I don't wanna." James got on the ride, and wouldn't let go of Gabes hand at all, as he started to look around the ride and how it worked. He hated muggle things. This was so unsafe.

He was excited to be here, really, he was. James had always wanted to go to one, but this was just a little outside his comfort zone. Hearing the ride start before it actually started to move, all the noises added to James's worry. He moved his fingers in between Gabe's, but not letting go of the bar in front of them either. Seeing the sign telling them not to rock the seats on the back of the seat in front of them, James rose both eyebrows. Would they fall off if they did?

For someone who was all big and bad and Death Eater, James sure could act like a such a wimp at times. Gabe raised a brow at how his boyfriend was cowering over the Ferris Wheel. "It's perfectly safe, so shut up and get on the ride before I drag you home," he threatened, although he was clearly playing for there was a smile on his face. "You'll be A-Okay," Gabe reassured as he happily waltzed towards the ride despite the killer grip James had on his hand. He paused when James called himself sexy. "You sometimes remind me of a kiddy, sorry if I forget the difference," he snickered.

Gabe sat in the seat and then smirked. "What ride do you want to get on next," he asked. He looked over the edge as they were lifted into the air. "You know James, if we fall, we can always apparate ourselves away from the danger." He couldn't help that his face read amusement in the greatest manner.

Rolling his eyes, James bumped his hip against Gabe's, then turned to smirk at his playful boyfriend, "I'm the kid you take home every night. And in bed. And who makes dinner mostly. And...damn, I'm a damn sexy kid." James said to pureposly make things awkward and come out on top of the conversation, but when they got on the ride together, he couldn't keep up the cocky act anymore, because this was just not something he was used to!

Whimpering a little, he didn't know what to think about it, but he moved closer to Gabe anyway. "Yeah I know..It's just...Never done this before you know?" James looked over to Gabe, as he felt them get higher, he couldn't believe how this worked. He could see that his date was amused with him, and he would have hit him if he wasn't scared that the seat would rock. "You're an ass you know that?" James wasn't mad, but he did look at the other rides at the fair, he moved his head on Gabe's shoulder, "Something low...and less life risking." James was raised in the muggle world, but sometimes, James was just as clueless as a wizard who had never been outside the wizard world.

Gabriel kissed James lightly on the cheek. "You do realize that the way you phrased that makes me look like a horrible person. We're only a few years apart love," he told the young male, his brown eyes staring into James'. "And yes, you are the one I take home at night as well as the one that I always fall asleep with. And you're the one that always cooks because you know I'm too damn lazy to do it myself. You're my everything James Halsey." He kissed James again, this time on the lips. "And yes, you're damn sexy."

When James requested a ride less dangerous he rolled his eyes. "Fine, how about a roller coaster or the spinning cup thing down there," he said as he pointed to each ride. "It'll be fun. I want you to enjoy yourself, this is after all for you." It was true. Gabe liked the fair, but he'd let James pick and choose today. All he really wanted was cotton candy.

James grinned, leaning against Gabe, things got to a point were things were just easy. They were good for each other, and they still had moments that James felt like they were first dating and Gabe was trying to win him over for something. It was still surprising, even though Gabe didn't need to say these things anymore, he did, and it made James feel like the king of the world. "And one of these days, you're gonna make it big rockstar, and I'm gonna be your badass arm candy." James did go to every show he could make with Gabe's band, unless he was working on a day he couldn't get out of or if he was on a mission, he tried to support his boyfriend as much as he could. "God, I love you." James said with a laugh, looking up from Gabe, from where his head laid on his shoulder.

Looking down at the rides, James raised an eyebrow at the spinning cup, "Are we in Disney world?" He looked over to where Gabe pointed, but nodded, that's where they would go next, even if James didn't jump up for excitement, he was pretty excited to try this stuff out. And who knows, maybe a spinning cup would be fun. "You're so nice to me."

Gabe smirked. "Arm candy? You're more than that, but I won't give any details," he said with a small chuckle. When James leaned against him, he smiled and wrapped his arm around the younger male. He adored James. "No, we're not in Disney World, but I'll take you if you want to go." He then rolled his eyes as James called him nice. "Not really, but I make an attempt got you," he said with a smirk. He really wasn't a nice fellow, and most times he was mean to James, but that was life.

James put up with his bullshit and he spoiled James rotten in return. That made them even, or so Gabe thought. He didn't care to ask James how he felt about the arrangements because he honestly didn't care. "I really want a cotton candy."

Snorting, James didn't want to go to Disney world, he liked the fair, but he didn't want to actually travel to invest in anything muggle wise. He didn't say that allowed, what he said out loud was, "Because that sounds excited, surrounded by screaming children when we'd be wanting to be doing me and you things...yeah, I don't think so. I stick with this right here." James said hit the bar of the seat, causing it to rock. When it rocked once, James grabbed Gabe's arm in reaction in surprise, as if that would keep them from falling. "Okay, all done now. Time to get down." James said as if because him saying that the ride would actually stop.

"I want those cinnamon things, the bread things we got once." James unknowningly spoke about elephant ears, "God, people would never guess I was raised in the muggle world with the way I talk..." It was true, James didn't know a lot about the muggle world because he never got to participate in it. "Get the blue one." James said without thinking about, he knew he would end up stealing pieces of the sweet from Gabe, so he told him which kind to get.

As they came back around, James couldn't help but tease, "Kiss me at the top?"
