Appearance Hanna is a normal girl through and through, she would say when asked. She is of moderate height, not overly thin, has common blue eyes, a straight nose, even lips, her skin is not pale or tanned, but she has a natural flush to her cheeks, completely unnoticeable, she says. But she’s proud of her hair. It’s light brown and falls in soft waves down her back, almost down to her waist. Because of her appearance she considers herself as unnoticeable, just another girl. Only when she found out about her magic did she become more outgoing, more daring, creating a light, bubbly personality that only very rarely let the small unsure common girl shine through.

Character History Hanna is an only child and consequently has all her parents’ attention to herself if they’re home. She grew up in a loving environment and enjoyed the best education. Still Hanna doesn’t brag with her knowledge but instead uses it subtlety, trying her hardest not to make others feel that they perhaps don’t know as much as she does. She’s a very circumspect girl even at the tender age of 11 and takes care that her moods don’t affect the people surrounding her in a bad way. Instead she has the appearance of a carefree girl with a gentle smile on her face people just have to love.
When Hanna was told that she has magic in her veins, she couldn’t believe it at first, of course, but quickly came to terms with the change. She’s a naturally curious girl and isn’t prone to nosing around even though she shouldn’t. In situations like that, when the curiosity gets the better of her, she’s seen to be daring and brave to satisfy the urge to gain knowledge. Going to Hogwarts is, even with her first year almost complete, still a big adventure to her and an opportunity to get to know as much as she can about magic.

Family History As usual with Muggleborns the whole family didn’t know about Magic before the letter accompanied with an explanation arrived. This way the family only knew about the Battle of Hogwarts what reached the Muggle world.
The Mugglelife her parents lived was rather unspectacular. Her father is a professor at a university. Her mother was one of his students when he was still a teaching assistant and they began dating after the semester. After her mother finished her studies she had Hanna and stayed home for a while with her little daughter before she took a part time job as a secretary even though she was overqualified. They bought a house at the outskirts of a town in Wales and lived there as a happy little family.
