[Connor Micheal Collins]

Walking into the Common room, Connor was glad he was just alone for a second. The library wasn't safe anymore, every time he walked in there, he felt like Lucien would just know. While he wasn't avoiding his boyfriend, he just felt bad for getting upset at him for taking the points from that Slytherin girl. Connor got that he wasn't the boss of Lucien, but still, he had tried to tell him not to the take the points, which was ignored. Now, not knowing how to apologize to Lucien and still be unsupportive of him taking the points, Connor was going to hide in the Common Room until he figured out what to do. 

Looking around the common room, the blonde recognized one of the girls as the Slytherin girl's friend, the one that he got the points taken from. Debating with himself to hide in his dorm, avoid her and just sit in the common room, or go talk to her and maybe try to explain himself. She was only a third year after all, what could she possibly do to him? Finally Connor decided that he would go and talk to her, not normally one to start conversations, but she was just a kid right? Younger than his sister, he could do this. Walking over to her, "Hey..uhm, Anne right? You're friends with that, uhm, that girl from Slytherin? Uhm..Puplia?" 

No matter how tall Connor got, no matter how many years he's been in school, he couldn't get over things enough to talk to people. New people. Almir freaked him out, Connor hadn't even seen him yet this year. Lucien was only possible because the boy was so much more calm than Connor was. This girl now, she was something that Connor had to talk to himself. "I just, uhm, Merlin. I didn't mean to get those points taken from her. Really, and I tried to talk to Lucien too. He's just..I don't know, he didn't really understand I don't think. But I'll talk to him again, I don't want her to think I meant to embarrass her. Really, because I didn't." Connor started to ramble, catching himself, he frowned, "Sorry."

Anne's eyes narrowed slightly. "Just who do you think you are? Have a prefect in your pocket and dropping a bloody pie on a girl's head?" She stood up and put a finger to his chest. "I stood up for you, but accidents like that just don't happen. How on earth do you do a thing like that on accident?" She rested her hands on her hips and glared at him. "I don't even know why you, of all people, would do that! But if you want to know something, it's your little Gryffindor that should be worried. Puplia's got something planned for him. And if you know Puplia, you know that that is something big." She finished her rant and waited for him to respond.

Quick to explain himself, because Connor really hadn't meant to upset the girl. Well, either of them, not that it seemed like he was upsetting more than one. "I was on the stair case, and it started moving. I lost my balance while trying to balance the pie that I had and I...wait, Lucien was just trying to help me." Connor wasn't going to have Lucien getting the fire because he tripped, was it really that big of a deal? He had tried to apologize, and the two Gryffindors cleaned Puplia up. It wasn't like anything got ruined!

"Lucien was just trying to help me. She better not do a damn thing to him." Connor wasn't normally one to get defensive, but Lucien was the only friend he had here, let alone his boyfriend. It wasn't fair that Lucien got what was really meant for him, even if it was an accident. "She...You know what fine. If she tries anything, I'm older than both of you, I've spent my entire time here in the Hogwarts library, if she really wants to start something with Lucien, she's going to regret it. What I did really was an accident, but she does anything to him, what I decide to do to her won't be." Connor didn't threaten, he didn't get angry, but Lucien was all he had, he wasn't going to let things just happen to him.

"You know that too. Why would I go out of my way to do something like that? I barely even know the girl. She can take my apology or not, but her threats to Lucien doesn't really make it seem like she deserves an apology." Connor narrowed his eyes right back at the smaller girl, he regretting coming over here to talk to at this point, but he wasn't going to let this go. "Lucien is a Prefect, I couldn't stop him from taking points. If she tries something with him now, when he already thinks she just a blint, he's gonna make sure she spends every weekend in detention. You too, if whatever game she's planning and your apart of it."

She was taken aback at the sudden change of heart the older boy had. But not for long. "I've spent my entire life in a library. You think I got in this house by begging the hat? I'm not an ignorant little 3rd year as you so apparently think. I'm warning you. If you think she's going to back down because of Lucien, you're dead wrong. I spent at least thirty minutes trying to convince her not to do it you arse. I know how much trouble she'll be in. I'm not daft. Puplia is an extremely intelligent girl and she'll find a way to get her revenge." She tried her best to look intimidating, but his stature made it quite difficult to do so. 

She had to refrain from slapping him "How dare you threaten her? I honestly thought you were a kind and considerate person. Oh. And please do remember, Puplia doesn't threaten, she makes promises. Because when she makes a threat, she follows through with it. Always. She has extensive knowledge of magic of all sorts and I was warning- note, I wasn't threatening- you. In all honesty it's quite tame. For her at least. I know that she'll be getting detention for at least a month. I warned her. But she's not going to back down." She glared at him. "Now if you'll excuse me, I have a charms essay to complete." She shoved past him.

What was it with women? Where they just completely stupid? Connor was grateful that didn't come out of his mouth, because he didn't mean all of them. "You are more daft than you think. Do you even hear yourself? Why would I go out of my way to embarrass her? Lucien came in because she hexed me, he was ticked off. On top of her insulting him. Can you blame him for taking points? Merlin.." Taking a breath, he getting pissed as hell, what was it with these two girls? Connor was trying to apologize, he bloody tripped. He didn't mean to do anything to the girl, it wasn't as if the pie was hexed or hurt her. It was breaded fruit! "I'm not going to have a pissing constant with a third trying to best me, the point I came to make was I was sorry for embarrassing her. But she's making this small thing into world war three, she's a 6th year acting like a 1st year."

Connor didn't think highly of the girl in front of him, the girl they were talking about, he doubted he would think highly of her boyfriend either. If Connor had purposely tried to do something to Puplia, he would understand why these girls were freaking out. He would, but he didn't do that. "I'm not saying a month. She does something to Lucien, he will make sure he's there every time she gets her hands just a little dirty. She will never be out of detention. Good bye boyfriend. Good bye social life." Connor glared at Anne as she pushed passed him, he was going to look out for Puplia. Forget it if the Slytherin house wanted to come after him, Lucien was an entire different ball park.

Anne spun on her heels. "Fine. If you didn't mean to do it, then I apologize for driving you out of your shell. It's not like anyone has met you besides Lucien. Nobody knows what sort of person you are. Puplia never tells the entire story, she just told me that some jerr dropped an apple pie on her head. Now I want you to picture yourself in the same situation as me. Your best friend tells you that, and then aforementioned jerk comes to tell you that he's sorry for that, when she insists that both him and his boyfriend are against her. Do you honestly think you'd react any differently?"

"Lucien does tell me things, and I tell him to relax. We talk about everything, I don't know these people, so no, I don't judge. You've seen me around here, can you see me picking fights like that? Let alone randomly throwing food at a girl?" Connor wasn't like that, him and Lucien just together a few weeks ago. He just opened up a little bit, he got a little adventurous, made the bloody dessert trying to surprise him, and boom. World war three starts as he tried to do some type of couple stuff. "The stairs, they move. When they moved I lost my balance, so when I grabbed the railing not to fall, the pie tipped in my hands. It went over the railing, she just happened to be there at the wrong time. I went to apologize and she hexed me into the wall."

Connor told the rest of the story, because seriously, he didn't want to continue this. He didn't want Lucien to get into trouble, he didn't want this girl going after him, and he didn't want to deal with a stupid thing like this anymore. Connor had already told Lucien that he wouldn't be doing anything like that next time, he would just make it, and bring Lucien down to the kitchens or something. "I'm not against until this minute you said she's planning to do something to Lucien. Now, I'm against her. I wasn't when I tripped and I dropped the food, no, but she wouldn't listen to that. Look..just..get her to back off whatever stupid idea she's going to do. Because as soon as it happens, she's going to start a war. And with as hot headed as she's being, she's not going to win it."

"You do realize now that you've told me this, when ever she's planning happens, your an accomplice. Meaning your going to be in this now too." Connor wasn't sure what Anne thought of that, but he wasn't going to keep this from Lucien just in case. He wanted to at least warn him so that he knew he needed to be wary around all three of them.

Upon hearing the full story, Anne started rubbing her temples. "Merlin, I really do apologize. If I had known that was what happened I never would have went off. But I'm telling you right now, I cannot control Puplia. If you expect me to rat her out. You're out of luck. But I've given you a warning to pass on. She's not going to hurt anyone. But she's going to do something rather... unorthodox, to get rid of the rivalries between their houses." She almost snickered, but stopped herself. "I'm not the boss of her. Far from it. Tell Lucien to find some Slytherin robes, and soon. That's all I'm going to say. "

There. She finally attempted to set things straight. Something good must happen from that.

Scrutching his eyebrows in confusion, Connor wasn't sure what to think of that. How did one play a prank and get even with someone, trying to resolve a rivalry? That made no sense. "She plans on doing something to the entire house? Playing a prank isn't going to stop that, it's going to make it worse. It's always going to be about getting even." Connor sighed, no, he couldn't expect Anne to rat out her friend, but Connor could at least try and talk to her to get her to stop it.

"I can't stop Lucien from retaliating, she gets that right?" Connor didn't understand the house rivalry, he didn't care about it either. He was just worried about being cursed down hallways for making Slytherin start the school year off in the negatives, but now he was worried about the bigger picture. If Puplia did something to Lucien, he didn't think Lucien would just let it go. It was going to cause a war between to the houses. Oh merlin, this was his fault. If he hadn't tripped, he wouldn't be worrying about this. This was his last year here, why couldn't it just go smoothly? Because your not by yourself this year.

She groaned. "It's a very advance piece of magic. In all honesty, she was already planning to do this. You dropping the bloody pie wouldn't have made any difference." Puplia was going to kill her. 

"But listen to me. The best way to let Puplia have her fun, with your little prefect getting pissed as little as possible, is to make sure he has some Slytherin robes and make sure to say she said to do so. It's the best thing I've got. Because Puplia's not going to listen to me. And if Lucien ends up as one of her 'victims' it's only going to make matters worse." She ran her hands through her hair in frustration. How bad is this going to get? Was all of this over a bloody pie? Honestly, she can do better than that. 


"Make sure you pass it on." She said, then added as an afterthought. "Unless you have anything better."
