Donovan wasn't sure what he was going to do about his brother's choice, he had never been so angry in his entire life hearing something like that. He wanted to be a vampire? He wanted to walk away from them? Draco was doing something, choosing to do something that Donovan couldn't even attempt to wrap his head around. Why would his brother turn his back on him like that? It made him so livid, Donovan wasn't sure how to even think straight, but he was mad, purely because of how betrayed he felt. He had thought their relationship was close, was good, now Donovan wasn't sure. He hadn't known that Bellatrix and Draco were close, he hadn't known that Draco wanted to be a vampire, but Draco knew about him.
Was their relationship, was this brotherhood really only one-sided? Resting his head against the door frame of his room, he wished he knew what do to. Some of him wanted to just demand Draco stay here, away from that madness, but that wasn't something that could happen. Draco would surely hate him then, and that's not something the older boy wanted. Confused by the suddenness of this choice, Donovan was scared for his little brother. What had this vampire told him that made Draco choose this?
Walking down the stairs with his heart beating so fast and loud, he was sure anyone could hear it. He headed out to the porch, the Young Lord looked both ways before he walked out of the house, in search of his little brother. Once he did spot Draco, Donovan still had no idea what to say. He was angry yes, he was scared out of his mind, but aside from that, he felt betrayed. Draco was choosing to walk away from them. Coming up behind him, Donovan spoke about a foot behind Draco, "I've come to some news. I really do hope it's not true." His voice was calm and monotone, it was the safest way for him to speak without letting out any of the emotions he was feeling.
"Draco. Bellatrix came to me, is it true that your choosing..a vampire over us?" Donovan's wording alone would show how he felt, but his voice stayed in the monotone it was in currently.
