It's a Date :Lucien:

Connor grabbed Lucien's hand, "Hold on, side-along is usually more rough than apperating on your own." Giving a small smile, he apperated just outside a pizza place he's gone to with his sister a few times when they saw their grandparents. He kept his robe folded over his arms, as he kept a hold of Lucien's hand, pulling the other boy towards the doors to the Pizza place. "Are you good? I know apperating kinda sucks sometimes.." Connor slowly let go of Lucien's hand, as he pulled the other male towards the booths that were available in the restaurant. 

Sitting down, he threw his robe on the other side of the booth, while he gestured with his hand for the other boy to side across from him. "Just toss your robe right there, it'll look more natural than you holding it the entire time." Connor said with a smile, warming up to the other boy, but he was still unsure of what to make of this. Were they friends yet? Or did Connor have to ask him? 

"Uhm, I'm sorry, but uhm, are we..friends?" The blond boy looked up at Lucien through his bangs, his head looking to his lap in embarrassment for asking. Connor didn't have any friends and this was his last year at Hogwarts soon, so he didn't want to spend his last year alone.

Lucien did as he was told. He had experience side-along apparation before so this was not new to him. When they got to where they were supposed to go, Lucien just stood up straight and fixed his clothes. "Don't worry. I've done side-along so many times since my brothers tend to make sure I'm close to one of them if not both." he explained to Connor and smiled. "Thanks for worrying though. No one's ever worried about me before." he said and the turned and looked around. Everything fascinated Lucien at the moment. "c'est incroyable." he said in awe of his surroundings, not even noticing his French coming out.

Then when they found a place to sit, Lucien did as Connor suggested and tossed his robe as well. He was still smiling and looked around. This was all so new to him. Then Connor asked if they were friends and he laughed. "Either we're friends or we're on a date. Take your pick." he teased Connor a bit. Lucien had one more year to spend in England before his brothers drag him off to France... in particular, Genovia. Well, unless he find a reason to stay that is.

Smiling at the accent that slipped out, Connor choose to ignore it in a way. He liked the way it sounded coming out of his friend's mouth, but he didn't want to embarrass him by pointing it out when he had been trying so hard to hide it. "It's alright, I like it." Moving his blond bangs from his eyes again, he couldn't stop smiling.

Opening his mouth and closing it, Connor blushed even more, a date. This could be a date. Oh Merlin. Connor had never been on one of those before. What was he going to say to that? What if Lucien was joking and Connor said yes to the wrong thing? What if Lucien didn't mean anything by either of them, and it was too soon to be friends? "Uhm, I, uhm, I don't know. I've, uh..never had either of you those before." Connor mumbled, not sure what to say but feeling like an idiot.

Lucien turned to give Connor his full attention now. "I like it too. This is all new to me and I have you to thank for." Lucie said softly and smiled. He knew he'd get into trouble when he got home but it was worth it. And he made a new friend.

He then sighed as he heard what Connor said. "Well, I've never been on a date or had a friend too. Most of the people in my own dorm are a bit wary of me because I'm French. I do not know what I did to them but they hold me at arms length at best." he admitted to Connor as he placed his elbows on the table and his chi at the top of his joined hands.

Looking up from his lap, Connor smiled, "I...Uhm, if you want to try, you know, I'll be good with just having friend. If you uhm, want to try, you know more, uh..we can. I've just never..." Connor didn't know what to say to Lucien without feeling like an idiot, he just got asked out by the other boy, and here he was stuttering like he was small child.

Swallowing, he knew he was blushing, but he looked up again, not liking what Lucien was saying about himself. "I think uhm, that you are too nice and too..uhm, good looking for them to get the nerve to talk to you." Connor attempted to flirt with Lucien, but all it came out was more words he couldn't say because it came out just as nervous as he felt.

Lucien couldn't help but smile at Connor. He just wondered until when Connor would be there for him. Lucien knew that when his brother's find out, Connor would prbably leave him as well. He'd take what he was handed for the moment. "I'd love that, Connor. Start as friends. As you English say, Nous traverserons le pont quand nous y serons. 'we'll cross the bridge when we get there'?" he said as he let out just a bit of himself. He ever had a friend before so it was fine to start there.

when Connor said he was too nice ad good looking, Lucien tilted his head a bit. "My brother's say I'm not worth anything since I'm the youngest. They eve say I won't find someone because I don't have a nice face." he said, wanting to know if Connor was just being nice too him or not.

Connor furrowed his eyebrows, he didn't understand how family could talk to each other like that. His parents would never do that, his sister either, even if they didn't get along, they were normally really close. "I'm sorry to hear that. Why do you stay with them if they are so nasty to you? My sister and me fight sometimes, but I would never say things like to her." Connor was worried about what happens at Lucien's house, would he get into trouble for sneaking out?

Hesitating a little, he decided he would ask, "If, uhm, if you don't want to go home, my mum would probably like it I made a friend. I'm sure she's let you stay over if you didn't want to deal with your brothers tonight...uhm, you don't have to tell her anything." He turned his head, this wasn't out of attraction to Lucien, this was concern for someone's well being. He didn't want something bad to happen to Lucien when he had been nothing by nice to him, Connor was sure it was the least he could do. Plus, friends stayed over and each other's houses right?

Lucien knew Connor would asked sooner or later. And he didn't mind answering since he hated lying. "I'm the youngest of three siblings. My family is one of the oldest ones in Genovia, a small country near France. My father was an important man and when he died, my brothers took over my father's work. I am never going to succeed my brothers so instead,I make sure I don't study business and politics to keep them both at peace that I would not do anything. They are... threatened by me since many of the other elders in Genovia like me more. they keep me close to make sure I don't mess their plans up." he told Connor with a sad smile.

Then he blinked at Connor. "Your offering to shelter me for the night? As much as I thank your for it but why? You barely know me as it is. I do not want to impose. I don't want you to think that you have to help me. I cannot let you make yourself do something that you don't have too." Lucien told Connor. AS much as he really would like to spend even just ONE NIGHT away from his home, he couldn't make Connor do it just because he was sorry for him.

Frowning, Connor wasn't sure what to say to that, so he was honest, "My mum would be pretty upset if I let you go home in a situation like that, she'd have wanted me to offer. It's just how she raised me I guess, when I need a break sometimes I go a for a walk, but it doesn't seem like you can get that at your house, so yeah, I mean, it's no big deal. I wouldn't want you to be in a situation that you weren't safe in." Connor wouldn't know what to do in a situation like Lucien's, he'd want someone to help him.

"I mean, you obviously don't have to, it's just something you can do if you want to." Connor didn't mean to pressure Lucien into anything, but he wanted to help if he could.

When Connor explained, he smiled a bit. Connor had a kind heart and Lucien liked it. "You are right. I can never get time off or a break at home. Its not really a home even. Just a place that I reside in." he said as he reached out and took one of Connor's hands, kissed the back of it lightly and smiled. "Thank you, Connor Collins of the Noble House of Ravenclaw for aiding me, Lucien Pardaillan de Godrin of Gryffindor House in my time of need. I am in your debt until the day I repay you back for your help." he answered Connor before releasing his hand and leaning back on his seat once more.

"So what do these people eat?" he asked as he looked around at the others who were eating and talking at the same time like they were in company of magical beings.
