Josh was sleeping soundly when he felt someone sit on his bed. They his mind began to work slowly and he recognize that it was his dad waking him up. Then he was being woken up. He grumbled and buried his head further into his blanket. But the words 'pancake' 'sugar' and 'fruits' reached his mind and Josh was instantly up yet his eyes were still closed. "Pan--*yawns* cakes... yey..." he said with his sleepy voice as he crawled to his dad and snuggled.

"Happy *yawns* birthday, monster." Josh murmured in his dad's chest, practicing on greeting his little monster sister. It was her birthday and he knew that he was supposed to be nice. Josh was going to try. "Morning, dad." he mumbled once more.

Casey held on to the little girl and raised an amused brow when she used the 'puppy lok' on him. Then add the little pout he KNEW was from Jason. "That won't work on my, sweetheart. Breakfast first then you can open your presents." he told her as he carried her out the bedroom door just behind Alex who made his way to Josh's room.

Casey chuckled when she said cake. "That isn't breakfast, Princess. Let's do with pancakes then we'll go out and get you cake and ice cream, call Jason and Pip over for a small party and they'll give you more presents. How about that?" he asked her with a smile as he placed a kiss on her cheek. She was just too adorable.

Picking Josh up when his eldest curled into him, Alex smiled when he called his sister a monster, he would have corrected it, but something told him that Chelsey was going to be a little monster today. Everything was just going to have to be perfect. Giving Josh some to wake up, he moved to the living room and sat down with his eldest in his lap. He's leave Chelsey and Casey to the kitchen until his eldest was more aware of the world. "Yeah, the little monster is going to be on everyone's toes today. Jason and Pip will probably stop by today too." He ran his fingers over Josh's hair, leaning against the couch, letting Josh lean against his chest.

"Wanna see if Papa needs some help or do you want to hang out with me out here?" Alex was sure Casey was able to handle the kitchen, so he would just leave it up to Josh, on what he wanted to do.

Waving her hand in a nod, Chelsey was okay with pancakes, she like those too. "Can we put strawberries on mine Papa? Daddy's too! He has to eat healthy even if he doesn't want to!" She liked being the boss, even though she had to wait to open her presents that her parents bought for her. Maybe her mama would come to her birthday party too! "Papa is Mommy gonna come too?" She asked, Daddy said she shouldn't talk to Papa about her mama, it made him feel sad, so she tried not too, but sometimes it just came out. "Sorry."

Not wanting her Papa to feel sad, she apologized for bringing up her mama again. She would make sure to ask Daddy later. Chelsey yawned, still a little sleepy from just waking up, but not at all ready to fall back asleep. "When is Uncle Jason coming?"

Josh felt his dad carry him out of the bedroom and he snuggled closer to his dad as he wrapped his arms around his dad's neck. He was still tired and wanted to sleep in. But even when he was sleepy, he could hear his dad talk and felt as his dad sat down in the living room. He could hear the clutherin in the kitchen. "I'm sure..." he answered his dad as he adjusted himself once more.

Then his dad asked and he shook his head. "Stay here with you.I want to have you to myself before Chelsey takes all your time away." he mumbled the last part, knowing that his dad would be able to hear him clearly still. He just wanted his dad all to himself once in a while.

Casey smiled as he placed her on the counter top and he waved his wand to gathering everything they needed to make pancakes. He chuckled, "Perfect plan, sweetheart. That way your daddy wil remain helathy like you, me, and Josh." he told her. Then as he was mixing the ingredients, Chelsey asked if Lynn would be coming over. He froze for a fraction of a second then smiled. "Of course she will. Its your birthday. And I'm sure she knows when to come here for your small party with us and to give you your present." he cheerfully told her.

Casey knew that she didn't mean to mention Lynn. "Its alright sweetheart. And yes, Jason is coming with Pip. Two presents from them. One from your mommy, one from your daddy, and one from me and Josh." he told her as he waved a pan to the stove and the fire began.

Alex kissed the top of Josh's head, he didn't mind hanging out on the couch for a little while, he didn't think Casey would mind making breakfast without him either. He'll just make lunch for everyone later. Ruffling Josh's hair a little, pushing it back a little, "Hey buddy, did you still want to cut your hair?" He said thinking back to the conversation they had weeks ago at the diner table about everyone getting hair cuts. "Maybe talk Papa into getting one too?" Alex adored Casey's long hair, he was not for Casey cutting it at all, but he would tease his mate about it.

Frowning a little, Alex was spending more time alone with Josh, he was spending more a lot time now with him than he did with Chelsey lately. That was why his youngest was acting out so much, or so that's what Alex assumed it was. "It is her birthday buddy, be nice to her."

"Can I put the strawberries on?!" Chelsey said looking at the package of fruit, she went to grab one, not even carrying about if they were washed or not. Which they weren't, she just wanted to eat the sweet treat. Listening as her Papa listed off the people, she grinned using her fingers to count, "Jason, Pip, Mommy, you and Josh, and Daddy! That's five presents Papa! This gonna be so cool!" Chelsey got up to stand on the counter, excited for today. She was seven years old!

Without a worry of falling, she started to bounce on her toes when her Papa was cooking, "Papa can we put the whip cream on tooooouhhhhhh!" Chelsey said as she slipped on the counter top, falling back on the counter landing on her butt roughly. Pain shot through her tail bone and her thighs, when she screamed. Stunned by the sudden fall, the tears came into her eyes before the sounds came out.

Josh just snuggled closer to his dad, enjoying the warmth his dad was giving off. It was comforting and Josh liked it. He wished he could do this with his dad often but he wasn't going to push it. What he got would be enough. He wasn't greedy. Then his dad asked if he wanted to have his hair cut still. Josh nodded. "Just like yours, dad." Josh said as he slowly sat up and rubbed his eyes and yawned once more. Then he smiled at his dad, "You love papa's long hair. You of all people won't allow it to get shorter, dad. Nice try." he teased his dad and chuckled.

Josh sighed and knew his dad was right. "I will try. At least she'll have you all up in your toes and not just me. That's a plus right there." Josh said with a huge grin before a scream from the kitchen echoed to the living room and Josh jumped off his dad and dashed off to the kitchen: Chelsey screamed.

Casey chuckled and nodded at her. With a wave of his wand, the strawberries were clean and can be eaten if Chelsey decided to have a bite of one. Then he laughed right out when she counted all the presents she would be getting. "Well it is your birthday. And you have been a good girl so good girls get presents." he told her and turned back to scoop out the cooked pancakes and place in new batter.

Then Casey saw her stand on top of the counter. "Sweetheart please be careful. " he told her as he was placing the batter into the pan. But before he could answer her question, she slipped and fell on her little bum. Casey instantly switched off the stove and rushed to her. "Sweetheart! I told you not to stand. Let Papa see where it hurts." he carried her off the counter and sat down on the dining chair and carefully placed her on his lap just in time Josh came running in, sure that Alex would follow. "Come on sweety, tell Papa if it still hurts." he waved his wand on her bum and the healing began. He should have known this would happen.
