Laughing, he ruffed Josh's hair, he was in a way a little flattered that Josh wanted to be like him a in way. He loved Casey with everything, he found it amazing that Josh was so much like his Papa, but even in that case, Alex couldn't help but be a little jealous. Something as small as a hair cut, it meant a lot to Alex, a lot more than it should. "Yeah Buddy, we'll get that cut than. Probably tomorrow when all the chaos-" Alex ran up right after Josh when he heard the scream from his youngest in the kitchen, all he was thinking was please haven't have burned yourself.

Seeing Chelsey in her Papa's lap, he looked her over his eyes searching for anything out of the ordinary. Not to stand? Looking to where the pancakes were half-way cooked, he let out a half laugh, half breath. "Merlin, Chels! You about gave me a heart attack baby girl." He was sure he would have heard the thud if she had fallen on the floor, so this was more of a scare than hurting Alex assumed. He kissed Chelsey's forehead, glad she wasn't hurting too badly.

Sniffing, Chelsey wrapped her arms around her Papa's neck, letting out little cries of pain and shock. After her Papa healed her, she was still crying a little, not because she was hurting, but because she didn't know how to stop crying yet. Shaking her head into her Papa's neck, it didn't hurt anymore, but it was still scary to fall like that. Chelsey saw her brother and Daddy come running in, only giving a small smile when her Daddy told her he was scared. She knew it wasn't nice to laugh at people for being scared, but it made her smile a little, knowing she scared her Daddy.

When her Daddy kissed her, she looked at Josh, "I'm okay." She didn't really know why she said that to him, he was a butt head to her a lot, but Chelsey did see him coming running in when she was hurt. It just came out, Chelsey was too young to understand that Josh was her big brother and loved her anyway. "I just fell on my bum." Giggling when she said the 'b' word, she wiped her eyes, feeling better.

Josh thought his heart stopped beating when he heard his sister scream. He was mean to her when she was being annoying but despit it all, he was still the older brother and Chelsey was his sister. When he got there, their Papa was already healing her which relieved him greatly. Then she said he was alright and this eased his mind. "Be careful next time, monster. You scared Dad and me and thought something happened to you." he told her and huffed as he looked away, not wanting to show he was really worried about Chelsey. That would ruin his reputation for sure.

When Alex and Josh came, he just finished healing Chelsey and she confirmed that it no longer hurt. He was relieved. He pulled away and looked at her, "Sweetheart, how many times have I told you not to be rowdy when your on the counter top? And how many times have I told you not to stand on top when your on the counter? You could have gotten hurt badly than just fall. You could have fallen on the floor. You worried me, Chelsey." he reprimanded her softly before holding her close, making sure she felt his fast beating heart that was scared if anything had happened to her at all.

Casey was a bit surprised when Chelsey told Josh she was fine. He smiled wider when Josh tried to act cool and looked away as if he wasn't worried. He totally was. Casey then turned to Alex with a soft smile, "Can you finish making breakfast please?" he asked. He was starting to get hungry and the morning scare just made him feel more hungrier than earlier.

Looking at Josh, Alex pushed on his head just a little, just to say ease up. "Come on coolio, help me make breakfast." Alex answered without speaking to Casey directly, he saw that his daughter was okay, that relieved him enough to get a move on with everything else. "But grab a chair instead of getting on the counter, I don't want anymore accidents." If Josh fell out of the chair, than that wouldn't be hurting nearly had bad.

Moving to the kitchen after he passing Casey, kissing the top of his mate's head without any words. The fall probably scared Casey more than it did Alex, seeing that Casey actually saw it happen. He knew his mate wouldn't have let it happen on purpose, so the kiss was for reassurance to his mate as well, even if he didn't say it aloud. Alex went to work in the kitchen, "If I'm cooking, I'm making meat too." The older man grinned, not wanting to eat fruit for breakfast, not when he had sausage in the cooler.

Not moving from her Papa's lap, Chelsey whispered to her Papa, "I'm not eating meat right?" Daddy and Papa normally made her try it, but she didn't want to. It was her birthday and that meant she could do whatever she wanted, so she didn't want to have to eat gross stuff today. She wanted pancakes only. With strawberries. And whip cream. "I don't wanna eat that gross stuff." Chelsey wasn't even sure if she liked the stuff her Daddy pulled out, it had been a long time since she remembered eating it. But she wasn't going to find out either.

Sticking out her tongue at Josh, "And I'm not a monster. I'm a Princess. Daddy and Papa say so. And you have to be nice to the princess butt head!" Chelsey yelled at him from her Papa's lap.

Josh sighed and did what his dad told him. He grabbed a chair and stood next to his dad and began to cook. He then snickered when his dad reminded his papa that when his daddy cooked, there would always be meat along. He liked eating what his dad ate. Josh just rolled his eyes when Chelsey whispered something to their papa which probably was about her not wanting to eat the meat.

Then he rolled his eyes again. "Today. Just for today, Princess Monster." he teased and smirked his dad's smirk before turned to his dad to see what he could do to help.

Casey accepted the kiss from Alex then chuckled when Alex mentioned meat. He already saw it coming and just nodded. Thenhe turned back to Chelsey and chuckled once more. "Don't worry. No meat for you. Just your pancakes and later cake and ice cream." he told her with a smile as he shifted her to a better position and making her face Alex and Josh who were now in the kitchen.

When Chelsey called Josh 'butt head' once more, Casey just sighed. "Chelsey..." he called out but Josh spoke and called her 'Princess Monster' which made Casey frown. "Can we get through one morning without you two fighting? Please? Just this once." he said, ordering both to do as he said really.

Alex didn't even try to add any input to Casey's comments to the kids bickering, they'd be doing this for hours if Casey and Alex let them. He did throw a smirk in Casey's direction though, "I heard this new method, for people who can't get alone, we use this trick glue. Glue them together until they learn to get alone. I've already bought the glue Case, I think we should try it out." Alex knew there was glue like that, but it was a prank store, but he would definitely buy to scare his kids into acting better. He didn't think he would actually use it, but who knows, if he used once for just a little while or maybe acted like he would, maybe they would stop fighting over the little things.

"Who wants the fruit and cream on the pancakes before I start pass them out?" Alex said moving the pancakes onto the plates for Josh to decorate according to who wanted want, as Alex continued to make the sausage in the pan.

When her Papa said they needed to stop fighting, she pointed at Josh, "He started it! He called me a Monster!" Chelsey said frustrated, she always got in trouble when it wasn't her fault. Stupid Josh always picking on her! When her Daddy started talking about trick glue, Chelsey's eyes got big, "No! You can't glue us together Daddy! He's a butthead and he mean and and no!" Chelsey shouted, moving backwards on her Papa's lap for protection. "Papa! Don't let Daddy do that!" She turned her head looking up at him.

"ME! I was both Daddy! But I wanted to do it!"
