Casey chuckled when Alex bumped the back of his leg before running off into the living room with Chelsey on his back. "Hold on to daddy sweetheart." he called out before the two disappeared into the living room, leaving him and Josh in the kitchen to clean up. He turned to his eldest and smiled. Listening to Josh ask if Casey could teach him about the transformation was better than Josh attempting it on his own.

"Alright. I will teach you the meditations and the theories behind the whole thing. But if I find out you attempted to do it without supervision, you will not like the consequences, do you here me?" Casey warned Josh first and foremost. Better safe than sorry.

Coming back around to the kitchen, he landed in front of his mate. Tilting his body to let his daughter slide off him. Morphing back to his human form, turning to his mate, pointing his finger at Casey, "You. Are not cute." It wasn't serious, Alex made a reference to Casey agreeing for Alex about giving bloody piggy back rides. He turned to Josh, "He can start when he gets his wand, not beforehand. He's not old enough to control the magic yet Case." Alex gave his mate a confused look, helping clear off the table. He looked at Josh, "You just got a few years buddy, but you'll get there." Alex didn't want to be a jerk, but the last thing he wanted was his son turning half way and not knowing how to turn the rest of the way to either form.

"Josh, did you want to bring your broom to the park with us? Show Papa what you can do?" Minus the nosedive. Alex thought to himself, wondering for a second what he's mate's reaction would be to him taking Josh on a spin like that on the broom. Grins at Casey, "Maybe I can take you up in the air with me?"

Getting off her Daddy, she watched as he turned back into her Daddy instead of the tiger. She pouted, she had just ridden a tiger! Like..like..like if she was riding a horse! "Daddy it's Josh's turn now! Josh it was lots and lots of fun, Daddy goes really fast and jumping over the couch was really cool!" Chelsey went on explaining to her brother, completely ignoring the idea about going to the park now. She was pretty excited about her parents being animals too! "Papa, what do you think Josh will be?! Oo! What do you think I would be?!"

Chelsey really wanted to know what animal she would be if she could be one, she would want to be a horse! No. An eagle! No a hamster! "I wanna be a hamster! Or a puppy! Or maybe an eagle. Oooo yeah an eagle would be so awesome Papa! It's almost like an owl like you!"

Josh shook his head. "No need Chels. This is your day. It should be about you." he answered calmly as he turned back to his Papa and Dad who were teasing each other. He snickered behind his hand. Then his dad said 'not until he gets his wand'. That was like forever! "Dad, I just want to know the theory behind it and the meditation and preparations. I promise not to do it." he said as he send his dad a pleading look that begged to be allowed.

However, the topic of going to the park and bringing a broom made Josh smiled and nodded. "Really?! We can bring our brooms?! Awesome!" he said as he jumped to his dad and hugged him. "I call dibs on the bathroom!" he then yelled as he ran out the kitchen to shower and get ready for their trip to the park.

Casey chuckled when Alex said he wasn't cute. Of course he wasn't. Casey knew that he was gorgeous. He then nodded at Alex but then had to understand Josh. "Don't worry. No applications. Just the theories behind it. Not even the meditations." he reassured his alpha as he placed a kiss on Alex's cheek before turning to their little princess who was chatting excitedly. It warmed Casey's heart that Chelsey wanted to be a bird like him. He smiled and picked hee up. "When you get older, will see what animagus form you have. If you turn out to be a winged one like me, we'll fly out together. Would you like that?" he asked her smilingly.

Then he turned to Alex who hinted about the brooms and the look on Josh's face worried him. "No jumping off brooms, Josh!" he reprimanded instantly before turning to Alex. "If he gets hurt, your on the couch for a month." he warned Alex as he moved Chelsey and himself out the kitchen to get her ready for their trip to the park.

Starring his mate down, Alex finally nodded. "Fine. But first time I have to rush a half-boy, half-goat to the hospital, will be the last time anyone gets to read in this house. Got that Josh?" He raised his eyebrows at his eldest, if they wanted to understand and study Animaguses, then Alex wouldn't stop it. But practicing it without a wand was dangerous, so it wasn't something the older wolf was going to allow just yet. "That goes for you too oh-so-very-not-innocent one over there." Alex winked at Casey.

"Hey!" Alex spun around with the threat, he didn't tell Josh to jump off! It wasn't fair that he was being punished too. He would have grabbed Casey, but in the position he was in, with Chelsey feet from him and Josh about to come at any minute, his mate knew he was safe. "Cheater. Alex just commented, sticking out his tongue. "Guess that really means your on broom duty while I'm with Chelsey." Grinning, if Josh got hurt or decided to pull any stunts under Casey's watch, then Alex just couldn't be blamed.

"I wanna ride on a broom too Daddy!" Chelsey said when she saw Josh run off to get ready, she was still in her pajamas too. When Papa picked her up, she looked at him, "I get to go on the brooms too right Papa?" It was her birthday, she should be allowed to! She was ready to get her day on a roll!

"Papa did Josh really jump of a broom?!" Looking back at her dad, in shock, he let Josh jump off a broom?! She was even allowed to go outside by herself and Josh was allowed to do that?! Her Daddy let him do that?! "That's so cool! Did he get hurt?" Chelsey asked her parents excitedly, "Can I do that too?"

A knock on the front door sounded, followed by a loud: "Heeeeeey, where is the birthday girl?"

Jason entered the living room, carrying a big, gift-wrapped box with a huge, gaudy bow on top.

"Sorry we're barging in like this, but I couldn't wait to give Chelsey her present and celebrate with her." He grinned widely, setting down the present and picking up Chelsey to give her a big hug.
With Chelsey still in his arms, balanced on his hip, he gestured toward the young woman standing quietly in the door.

"Everyone, this is my...friend, Emma. She's a beater for the Chudley Cannons."

Emma didn't really know about coming with Jason to meet his family, it was something she was open too, but she didn't know yet if it was really place to be. It was his niece's birthday, Emma felt in a way like she would be in the way. In result of being her, she brought the little girl something, she didn't know what she liked, so Emma just went and assumed what little girls like. When they arrived, Jason walked right in, smiling she just followed in after his introduction. Waving a little at the crowd.

Biting her lips back, smiling when Jason picked up the little girl. Emma held up her small gift bag, which just had random accessory items. Easy to remove make-up, nail polish and a hair brush. Emma didn't really think about it when she handed the bag to the little girl on Jason's hip, "Happy Birthday."

Sensing that Emma felt uncomfortable, Jason reassuringly laid his hand on her arm and smiled at her. He hoped his brother would not interpret too much into him bringing Emma. Jason had just met her, and didn't know whether there would be anything more than friendship between them. Not that he cared. He loved his life the way it was, with parties, girls, parties, girls, and parties. A relationship like Alex had with Casey was something Jason thought was great for others, not him. But Emma was beautiful, and she seemed...different than the girls he'd met before. Maybe it was worth finding out what it was about her that had him interested.
